Who Services The Appliance During The Warranty?
During the manufacturer's warranty, the manufacturer will be responsible for sending a local authorized service technician to your home (some manufacturer's have their own factory service, others will use local independent servicers). During the Extended Warranty portion, the Extended Warranty company will find you a local authorized service technician to come to your home. If you have a prefered service company, as long as they are authorized on that particular brand of appliance, you can usually use any company you request. Bottom line: you are protected no matter where you are in the country. If you move, the warranty follows the product. You can even transfer ownership of the warranty to a new owner in just a few minute phone call.

What Will My Extended Warranty Cover?
Your extended warranty promises to pay the cost of repair service on functional parts as long as it is within the covered period and not deemed broken from consumer misuse / abuse. Your extended warranty is designed to assist with the costs of service, which can typically be an expensive investment. Your extended warranty does NOT promise a particular timeline or maximum number of service calls. The speed at which your appliance is repaired is completely controlled by the availability of parts from the manufacturer and availability of technicians from the manufacturer authorized service providers. Consumer Priority Service is an insurance provider that pays for the expense (in accordance with your policy) but does not control the repair service logistics.
What If My Appliance Is Not Repairable?
If manufacturer authorized service deems your appliance "not repairable" then your extended warranty will cover replacing it with a direct replacement. This determination may only be made by a manufacturer authorized service provider and is not decided by yourself, Queen Appliance, or any other party. No guarantee is made as to the number of service calls that are required to make this determination, as that varies per appliance and per service issue. Consumer Priority Service has the discretion to service and repair your appliance as many times as necessary until a manufacturer authorized service technician officially determines it cannot be repaired to specification. If a replacement appliance is necessary and approved, the cost of the initial repairs are deducted from the replacement appliance value, since the maximum liability of the plan is not to exceed the original purchase price of the appliance. For example, if your appliance purchase price is $1999, then the maximum expense paid by Consumer Priority Service is $1999 for the total cost of repairs and/or replacement.
