Empty water error

This product has been giving me the worst time. The design is flawed and constantly gives empty water error when it is completely empty. I called customer service way too many times for this and their technicians cannot fix it. The styler just stops itself every minute due to this error and it is unusable. Absolutely frustrating.

My wife bought a hand held steamer which she struggles to use. I bought her this stand up steamer. She is very electrically challenged however has used this nearly 10 times in the first week once I showed her how to use it. It is simple and easy to use she loves it especially for her work clothes.

Great product poor service

My sister has been using a LG steam styler for a few years. So I knew its exceptional performance. It helps the freshness of clothes last longer if they had no stains or dirt etc especially ones that require dry-cleaning. It doesnt replace but reduces washing and dry-cleaning. I chose to shop at lg.com instead of other vendors because I had heard great things about LGs service support outside Korea. When I placed an order I chose the delivery and installation option. But the guys who delivered it just dropped it off in my place and plugged it in and that was all. According to the manual 1 the product shouldnt be operated without installing a drip pan 2 the product should be properly leveled and fixed to the floor if the floor is carpeted before use fixing pins come together with the styler 3 fixing the styler to the carpeted floor requires tilting the machine for safety fixing pins should be attached to the feet of the styler before it is unloaded from the trolley. If the styler is placed on top of the carpeted floor due to the carpet pile there is not enough space for the drip pan to be installed. Since the machine may shake a bit during the operation like a washing machine it can fall if its not properly fixed to the floor because it is tall and slim. In my reading of this manual just plug-in shouldnt count as installation because when the styler is not ready to use when it is simply plugged-in. The space I wanted to use the styler was carpeted. To make sure whether it can stand safely on the carpeted floor I asked the delivery guy and he said yes. But as soon as I started reading the manual and checking out the accessories that came together with the styler I immediately learned that the delivery guys hadnt properly installed it. Ive contacted the company that arranged the delivery but I havent got responses at all. If LG treats delivery and installation separately the delivery and installation option for online purchase is terribly misleading well I found it even deceptive. The webpage should have informed the customer in advance about the occasions that s/he may have to hire a handy man at her/his own cost to install the styler correctly. And if that had been the case I wouldnt have bought it.

Before having this product I have to wash coats and suites light and heavy ones in the washing machine and then dry them in the drying machine the result was not good at all. They became clustered and wizened. So we decided to buy this product for better washing with its technologies like steaming washing disinfection especially fast washing convenient and fresh aroma.

Highly recommend especially in winter

I debated whether to buy this styler for a long time since I was not sure whether it would worth the money etc. I finally bought it during the Thanksgiving sale season and I am so glad that I bought it I wear a lot of knit sweaters in winter and do not want to wash them or have them dry-cleaned every time since its inconvenient and expensive. I put them in the styler on refresh or dry mode and its amazing On rainy days I put my coats and run them on a special care/ rainy day mode. They come out all dry and fresh I also use the styler to sanitize my daughters stuffed animals. I bought a white styler and it is esthetically pretty and goes well with my modern-style apartment. I regret not buying the styler sooner

I used to take a ton of clothes to the dry cleaner. Collared shirts and dresses worn for a quick dinner. A blazer worn once. Now I can throw these things in the Styler and theyre like new in a flash. Wrinkle free and smelling fresh.

Perfect for disability

Ive had this for a year and a half. Im disabled and its a dream to have. I go to the dry cleaners way less. My hands are grateful for not having to iron or hand steam clothes. It did ruin a velvet pillow it doesnt have a huge capacity and is hard to move around. It lets me refresh or dry a last minute decision on an outfit. Did not know about the silk setting you need to download but whatever they were fine with gentle dry before.

Must have for everyone

I wear a suit M-F for work and its not cost effective to get my suits dry-cleaned after 1 or 3 times wearing it. During the hotter months I need my suits dry-cleaned more often. With the Styler my suits come out feeling fresh and looking fresh. I honestly dont think ill be dry-cleaning my suit much unless I spill coffee on it.
