Nice Window AC

Replaced a 30+ year old window AC so of course this one is smaller and much quieter. Nice features with remote and wifi capability. No problem to connect and control the unit. Seems to do a good job cooling. Not into the dog days of summer yet but I have no reason to believe it wont do the job.

My best AC yet

Bought from Amazon 3 wks ago. I drink LG kool-aid--I have numerous appliances including a washer dryer washer/dryercellphone and now the 14K a/c. I would overall rate LGs appliances at 8.5/10---much above average. This a/c uses far less current than my prior 13K almost 20 less Another big plus for me is the thermostat it will cool to 60 degrees F---itll keep penguins comfy It also is the quietest unit of any size I have thusfar encountered. Sofar this is a major winner.

Ive had my LG Air Conditioner for less than a year and unfortunately it lost power during the hottest days weve had this yearI am frustrated at the fact that I had to remove the unit and reinstall the unit for the technician that came to repair the A/C. We had to schedule two seperate visit dates due to the first date being an observance only visit which doesnt make any sense. To top it all off the technician broke a clip off of my A/C but didnt want to admit he did. My unit is now fixed but overall is a very disorganized process through and through.

Bought a month ago putting it together was a tough I did not think the directions were very clear I was able to find on you tube another person explaining how to do this and this helped a lot. Hard to believe a huge company like LG doesnt provide links on you tube showing this. I had some prob with the temp sensor not reading correctly I called LG and got bounced around and nobody really helped me. Found some stuff online that talked about that sensor and that you had to make sure it was not touching any part of the AC. I pulled it out a little bit and crazy enough it started working much better. There was a 6 degree gap between the actually temp before I self corrected. This was only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating. Noise level is fine for me and the cooling is great. I had no prob connecting my phone to the AC using the ThinQ app.The remote that came with the unit was OK but I use the ThinQ app which works well.

I purchased this in the spring of 2022 as the temps were rising and the house was getting too warm. It has worked fine throughout the summer. The features most helpful are numerous. 1. Clean filter reminder. And easy clean filter. 2. WIFI with remote control and status. 3. Economy setting. 4. Timer and time-of-day operation settings. I particularly like the ability to set in in econo-mode while we are gone and change itvia my cell phone app to be cool in the house before we arrive.

Very quiet. Love the solid front and top panels

After looking at many A/Cs I decided on this one for several reasons. First i love the solid top on the outside. I have a lot of trees and had issues with lots of leaves and dirt getting into the back of my old AC. I also like the stylish solid front panel. This thing is really quiet on lower settings. I havent had to turn this thing above low even when 90 degrees outside. Its in the living room so I needed something quiet because of the TV. I also needed a slide in unit because i have this built into the wall. Install was fairly easy with two people. I framed the hole to the perfect size and then slide in the case. After mounting the case and adjusting my support brackets outside the main unit slid right in. It was a little more expensive than most other units but with the features it has it was worth it for me. I hope it lasts as long as my last one that lasted about 10 years

We are incredibly happy with this purchase It has saved us in our bedroom through this record breaking heat wave. We have an HVAC system but it has never vented properly into our bedroom. The rest of the house feels fine but that doesnt help us when we try to sleep. We were gifted an older unit to try and it worked alright but it was loud and not energy efficient. It ended up breaking down within about a month. Thats when we decided to just buy a brand new one. This unit has been worth every penny Its quiet energy efficient works fantastically and is easy to use. We can even control it from our phones which has come in handy a couple of times. Definitely recommend this product.

This AC wasnt bad to setup and worked wonderfully the first night. It has not worked properly since then. We have tried many times to get the unit serviced and/or replaced but the LG customer service has been consistently apathetic and slow at best and actively unhelpful at worst. Purchase an LG AC at your own risk.

It wasnt easy for me to install this AC since this was my first time installed AC. My house has some widow ACs but not so working properly so I purchased this one for the living room. Installation was quiet easy even for me as non experienced. If you are able to lift 50lb it wouldnt be a big deal. It worked very well and since the installation the summer weather is no longer issue in my house. Very well made LG

We have had this air conditioner for about 2 weeks so far and it is amazing. It cools down the whole first floor and doesnt run much at all It is quiet and no loud clanking noises every time it does start up. I love the smart features of seeing its stats on the app and being able to control it as well. We will be looking into getting more but smaller for the others in the house to replace.

I purchased this unit 2 weeks ago for our living room. Our living room was usually on the warmer and humid side.... so I knew we needed a good window unit to help with that. After reviewing MANY brands and models... I chose this one. Im glad I did The installation was pretty easy... although I had a little help. And after the install.. we fired it up. It was slow to get going...and surprisingly quiet. Once it got going I was very impressed. The living room got cooler in no time and it felt less humid for sure. The wifi feature is great... so you can change the mode/speed/temp from just about anywhere from your phone I love that feature. So far a great investment... I highly recommend it Thanks LG

Good air conditioner but makes very loud noise

The air conditioner worked very well in low once you increase the fan speed to medium or high the motor seems to be out of balance and starts banging contacted service got a service number two weeks later still havent heard from anybody so were still waiting to find out what is wrong with the unit.

So cool

Outstanding air condition 7/22/2022

Id been utilizing portable air conditioners. After much research I purchased the 14000 BTU dual converter window air conditioner. My friend installed while I supervised :. He was very impressed with the ease of installation and how well built the unit is. My home is 100 years old and it cools the entire lower floor. Its easy to use and I highly recommend this AC. Temperatures hitting 100 degrees next week and Im ready.

Keeping Cool

This window air conditioner is a supplement to the whole house unit. I needed something to cool down one room for my aging dog who gets overheated. This unit has been wonderful. Cools the room down and keeps it cool. Fairly easy to install with 2 people. Is very quiet and has a modern understated design. Only negative is that it seems to increase the humidity in the room.

The best purchase we could have made this summer

this is one of the best cooling ACs that Ive ever had. The ability to operate it from a remote control or from my phone is outstanding. Its cool so well dehumidifies my room and its so quiet that I sometimes dont know its on except for the fact that my house is so cool. And this summer that is saying something.

Things to do with this before installing in window

There are two plastic sliders for the side curtains. One pin from each side broke that are suppose to provide sliders to the bottom of the unit. They dont fit flat in the notch underneath. You need to put in the side curtain screws in before you put the unit in the window. The screws grab one of the plastic curtains unless you spend time moving the fold from the screw. I only needed them to expand a few inches.

Low noise

The air conditioner works absolutely great. I absolutely love the product. It gets really how in my place because I live in a desert area and I turn on the air conditioner and in 10-15 minutes my place is cooled down.
