We had this about a month and so far so good. We bought it online sight unseen. This is a very nice looking unit. Good water pressure and ice maker works fine. I do like the two different controls for water / ice but the positioning of the water spout is well interesting. It works well for filling tall containers. The fridge is relatively quiet and cools well. The interior lighting is pretty good. There is surprisingly a fair amount of room in the freezer for a unit this size. On the down side the top drawer in the freezer doesnt pull out far enough. Poor design Our old one had shelving that slid out and a shelf that was collapsible to allow for taller items. This one does not. But I was able to take the shelves out of the old one made by LG and install them into this one and they fit perfect. So customization Ha

Very roomy. I especially like the icemaker on the door which takes up very little room. The only improvement would be to be able to see what the temperature is in the refrigerator and freezer. It tells you the setting temp but not the actual temp achieved.

We had to get a refrigerator- one of those the other one is not working right at all. Why not a perfect 5? Because of two things. On the next model up which was my favorite but too deep to fit it in the space had a shelf that tilted under the front shelf. That shelf could fit anything tall right So wish theyd sell it separate and it would fit. The next thing is where the handle moves when you open the freezer. Not in this model. Like the ice maker being smaller and boost feature to make it quicker if youre having company is great. Had to get use to the water dispenser on the outside of the fridge. Use to going under one spigot for water so this has 2- water over the floor the first time. Never will that happen again Has adjustable shelves inside and doing that so tall items fit This layout I like and seems good for the family. Roomy

I have had my LG refrigerator just under 1 year. Vibration is terrible - cant have any bottles etc. touching the walls or the audible hum will drive you nuts in door ice maker also hums when full. Exterior stainless steel looks awful I follow the recommended instructions and clean with soap and water only. Cannot get rid of smudges. Although I do like the size open door alarm and easy on-door controls I will not buy LG again.

Bought this fridge for just over a month. After 2-3 weeks noticed the fridge runs almost non stop. Found the ice creams in the freezer are always soft. Bought a thermostat and found even though the temp is set at -2F it only goes down to 15-17F. Tried all the methods in manual but nothing worked. Setup an appointment for a tech to come in. Very disappointed with LG worst fridge we ever had.

Purchased a French Door Refrigerator LFX25974SW/05 on October 10 2017 from Home Depot. Refrigerator was delivered on the 15th - including two noticeable dents and scratches on the front right door. BTW the packing box was not damaged in those areas meaning the factor boxed up and shipped the product as is. Nice. The refrigerator was returned. The next refrigerator came on the 18th. No damage However the unit developed a noticeable hum-rattle which seemed to appeared when ever the compressor was operating. I have called Home Depot / LG customer support three times over the last couple of weeks. The first two calls support attempted to diagnosis the problem over the phone. I followed the instructional videos support provided - no luck. On the third call I requested on site response which has been scheduled. Regarding support overlooking some language difficulties the support agents were painfully slow overall. We love the refrigerator - just would like to see the noise ended. Well see how the service appointment goes next week.

Best refrigerator I ever had. Love the fruit and vegetable bins. My fruit and veggies dont spoil so quickly. The right size for us. Nice to have the refrigerator shelves at eye level. Great to have water and ice in the door. Almost everything works. Cubed ice will jam up occasionally just below the ice-making tray. This makes it necessary to remove a ball of ice about the sized of a softball and toss it into the freezer ice tray. Also due to the additional weight in the left door due to the icemaker we have to be a little more careful closing the left door.

We have had this refridgerator for 8 years. It has been great except the ice maker dispenses crushed ice despite having it set on cubed ice. Also the ice bucket must get warmer air tomit because the ice will start melting and then it gets stuck in a big chunk. I often have to remove it and rinse the bucket in warm water to dissolve it or it wont dispense ice. It does make ice quickly and unless we are having a lot of guests it makes plenty. I like the lighting in the freezer and the adjustable shelves in the fridge are very convenient. I also like the sleek appearance.

Always wanted a refrigerator with water and ice features in door so I am enjoyings these features.and theres enough storage in the refrigerator section to accomodate our needs. The freezer is a very nice size with a separage drawer for food storage and a tray to collect ice whch is definitely needed to store extra ice as the ice maker does not make enough for our family in the summer time. I dont think the outside is actual stainless steel though. It is hard to keep clean and often looks bloched. Stainless cleaner does not do a good job but a little oil improves the appearance. I understand there is a new exterior finish offered now that does not show prints so I recommend purchasing a LG refrigerator with the new exterior finish. I have owned this refrigerator for 3 years and have not had any mechanical or electronic problems. This is a very good thing and hope it continues providing us with good service because we bought the LG to replace a refrigerator we had had for 30 years and it was still working

Our first refrigerator in 17 years and I was excited about having an ice maker and water dispenser on the outside along with the freezer on the bottom. However I dont know what is going on with the ice maker. The water comes out clear but when you put ice in there is so much sediment or something floating around that we dont feel safe about using the ice. Right now we are buying ice. I have not had a chance yet to call LG regarding this issue as I kept hoping the ice line would clear itself out. It hasnt.

The refrigerated portion works very well. The freezer has had numerous calls just shy of the lemon criteria which is hard to achieve with how long it takes service to schedule repair calls. Items get freezer burn very quickly. Many times the freezer area is covered with ice like the old days before automatic defrost.

We bought this refrigerator about 9 months ago. The top french door is an extremely nice feature giving good access to everything on the shelves and lots of room. The bottom freezer is also very roomy. The only minor complaints are the extra storage drawer in the freezer doesnt pull out as much as the rest of the freezer drawer making access a little difficult and the ice maker jams up on occasion which is usually solved by opening the ice maker door and banging on the tray a few times common complaint from what Ive seen. Other than those two minor issues its quiet and does a good job. If it lasts for 20 years like our last refrigerator well be happy.

We have not been happy with this refrigerator since day 1. It looks great and has built in great functions but has not operated well. Weve had serious problems with the freezer not operating ice machine clogging or not working and as of late serious issues with the mechanics being defective and the refrigerator making loud noise. I dont know whether we just bought a lemon but this refrigerator has been a serious disappointment.

Great Refrigerator

I have high praise for this refrigerator. There are only a few flaws not all of which were unexpected. Obviously a bottom drawer freezer offers lots of volume but finding stuff can be a challenge. Sometimes the upper tray gets stuck and can come off the rails. Probably due to interference from an item in the drawer. The one problem that is consistent has to do with the in-door icemaker. This system periodically gets stuck due to the ice not dropping to the bottom of the unit. You have to open the icemaker door and shake down the ice. A minor inconvenience. Finally the right side crisper requires both doors to be open in order to access its contents. Again a minor inconvenience. Overall a great refrigerator. I love the HUGE capacity and quietness. The inside water filter is very easy to change. The door display is easy to read. Highly recommended.

Loved the freezer on the bottom.

I recently sold my house and was very sorry to have to leave this behind. BUT I used this refrigerator for 2 years and loved it. I especially liked the bottom freezer because it made the stuff in the top more accessible and easier to see. The ice maker made plenty of ice. I am missing this refrigerator very much.

Great quality and energy efficient

We have owned our LG for almost a year and are really impressed with the quality energy efficiency. We lost power for over 20 hours during hurricane Harvey and the contents remained cool in the fridge and the freezer items remained frozen Shelving is easy to arrange for our needs and the freezer has a large capacity.

Love this refrigerator except....

We had been looking for a new French style refrigerator and decided on the LGX25974SW. We love all of the features except for the ice/water in door feature. If you use a lot of ice you dont want this refrigerator. - If you want cold water and want it fast again this is not the feature you want. There are two of us in the house and buy noon there is no more ice until the next day. - The crushed ice feature will clog the dispenser and it is NOT easy to clear. - The water flow is so slow it takes 60 - 90 seconds to fill a drinking glass. That doesnt sound bad but go to your current refrigerator and hold a glass for a full 60 seconds. See what I mean? If I could repurchase I would get an additional ice maker in the freezer. My recommendation to friends would depend on what they were looking for. All of the other features are GREAT

Regrettably Ive had the in door icemaker replaced twice due to malfunctions. Questionable design means both split doors have to be opened to access the Glide n Serve drawer

Weve had our LG refrigerator for a year. Its a terrific refrigerator. The zone separation is great. We dont worry about items at the back being too cold and items at the front being too warm.

At Queen Appliance we only offer 'white-glove' delivery services, so you never have to worry about additional charges to put a product in place, carry up stairs, or hook up hoses, water lines, and power chords. Installation charges do apply for built-in or gas appliances, but we will always be drastically less expensive than hiring an electrician or plumber! Call a Sales Associate to verify delivery and installation charges.

In addition, many of our appliances include rebates to cover the cost of delivery and even installation! Speak to a sales associate for more information on specific delivery and installation charges.

Queen's Premium Delivery Service

While most of our competitors sub-contract their delivery services, we take pride in quality control and protection of your appliances and property. Not only can we better accommodate specific customer needs, but we guarantee professionalism throughout each of our deliveries and patience with all of our customers.

We may sell a lot of scratched & dented appliances, but we take great pride in the fact that we do not CREATE our own Scratch & Dent merchandise.

Measure Dimensions

Queen will always take responsibility for mistakes that we make; however taking proper measurements at home is the responsibility of the customer. Do not forget to measure doorways, any space that the appliance must travel through to get to its destination, as well as the final installation place. We can provide cut sheets and detailed specs for all of our appliances, so check with your sales- person. Unfortunately, if returns happen due to a customer's negligence to measure properly, we must charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs and re-sell an unboxed piece. If desired, our drivers can come out to measure ahead of time for a small fee. Please note: We do not remove door molding or cut any cabinetry.

Delivery Time Windows

We understand that all customers have jobs and personal obligations, which is why we are committed to giving you a 2-3 hour time window for your delivery. Never should you have to wait around all day for a delivery, as with much of our competition. Please understand that we must route the truck geographically, so any special delivery time requests will be taken very seriously but can never be guaranteed. Your time window will be set the evening before and you will receive it through a phone call from our Phoenixville branch. If you have not received your time window by 7:30 pm, please call 610-933-2900 (Option 2 for Retail Sales) and check with a Sales Associate.

Directions and Cross Streets

Your salesperson is responsible for asking all the necessary details to get your new appliances to your home, however if they forget to ask for the nearest cross street please call and let them know. GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so the nearest cross street and any directions or details that you feel will help them are greatly appreciated and necessary for our drivers (i.e. low bridges, unmarked roads, landmarks, etc.).

Standard Installations

If our delivery team deems any installation as 'non-standard' they will require your approval and signature before proceeding. In addition, an additional fee may be charged depending on the nature of the situation to compensate for additional time spent and materials used, similar to working with any other contractor. 'Non-standard' installations include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:

Dishwashers

Flooring that is raised or built on top of a pre-existing floor makes dishwasher installations very difficult. Cutting off legs of the old dishwasher may be required for removal, but will only be performed with your authorization and signature. There is no guarantee that your dishwasher can be installed if your floor is raised too high, so please discuss this possibility with your salesperson so you can purchase a dishwasher that has more flexibility for your particular installation needs. If a dishwasher installation is beyond the scope of our trained professionals, we might insist on refunding your delivery fee and leaving the project for your own contractor. As a conscientious delivery crew, we always choose to error on the side of protecting your property and avoiding a sloppy installation.

Gas Ranges and Dryers

Gas valves must be located in the appropriate position behind the appliance, as we cannot reposition or manipulate any gas line. We will not touch gas valves on the outside of the house and be responsible for restarting your pilot lights.

Electric Ranges and Dryers

Hardwiring ranges and dryers does not meet the required regulations. We come prepared with 3 prong ($19.95) and 4 prong receptacles ($29.95) which must be installed and will hang loose, but safely, behind the unit. This nominal fee is significantly less than hiring an electrician, so please cooperate with our installers who insist on following local code. Look behind your appliance...If there is a 220v outlet, there will be no additional charges. New cords must always be purchased (3 Prong - $12.95, 4 Prong - $16.95), even with a receptacle installation, as we never take the risk of using an old and possibly frayed cord.

Washing Machines

Old fill hoses can leak or burst. Queen insists on protecting your property by using only new hoses for every one of our washer installations. Some machines come with new rubber hoses, while many do not, so be prepared to purchase new rubber or stainless steel ones for a small fee. If you insist on using your old hoses, that is not a problem, however we will only put the unit in place and you must sign and indicate that you will be hooking up the hoses yourself. 5 foot fill hoses are always used, which is longer than the standard 4 foot; however some tight spaces require longer fill hoses and drain hose extensions for a small fee (i.e. laundry centers).

Refrigerators

Refrigerator water lines can only be connected to copper tubing (no charge for install) or via poly line to a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator (small fee for materials). The installers can run a new water line with copper tubing for $79.95.

Inclement Weather

Please understand that our hard-working delivery crew cannot control inclement weather and traffic conditions. If emergencies arise you will be notified and rescheduling arrangements will be made to the best of our abilities. Completing all of our deliveries is a commitment we always keep, and we never intend to inconvenience any of our customers.

Scratch & Dent Appliances

Since Scratch & Dent appliances have pre-existing damage, please make sure to fill out a damage detail form with your salesperson. Our drivers take great pride in protecting your purchases, one of the main reasons we do not sub-contract our delivery team.

Removals

Removals of old appliances are $5 for each piece ($15 for Refrigerators) or can be taken outside for your bulk trash pickup at no charge.

  • All merchandise must be inspected and tested at the time of delivery.
  • Queen Appliance is not responsible for customer installation errors.
  • GOOD STOCK RETURNS
  • All dimensions must be approved for all major appliances. All no-fit and good stock returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus a re-delivery charge, if applicable. Merchandise must be in its original condition and include all original packing materials, accessories, product manuals and warranty cards. There will be no refund for labor, delivery and/or installation services for good stock returns.
  • DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
  • If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon delivery you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange*. After this period, the manufacturer requires in-home service. If the appliance is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer it will be replaced in accordance with their individual service/return policies.
  • DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
  • If you receive a cartoned product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is not replaceable** you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange***. After this period, the manufacturer does not authorize damage returns. If you receive a product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is replaceable**, you have 14 days from the time of delivery to request a replacement part at no charge.
  • Queen Appliance reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason. In rare cases, some appliances are non-returnable.
  • * Scratch & Dent appliances and Special Buy items are often one of a kind and sold at significant discounts, therefore if no exact replacement model is available you may apply the credit for that appliance toward a different model. Queen Appliance will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer.
  • ** Examples of replaceable cosmetic parts include, but are not limited to:
    • Handles
    • Knobs
    • Panels
    • Feet/Leveling Legs
    • Escutcheon Plate/Panel
    • Toe Kick/Kick Plate
    • etc
  • *** Scratch & Dent and other unboxed items are subject to the agreement at the time of sale. Customer must sign that the appliance arrived in the same condition that it was purchased. If any additional damage is noticed, please contact your sales associate immediately at the time of delivery. Returns after the time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. Damage returns will not be authorized after 72 hours, although replacement parts can be ordered up to 14 days from the time of delivery. Queen Appliance reserves the right to determine if a cosmetic part is to be replaced or if the product should be returned instead.

  • BILLING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Payments are to be made to Queen Appliance without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement.
  • Online Orders: The balance of the invoice must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Factory-Direct / New In Box Orders): A deposit of 50% of the invoice price must be paid when placing an order, in order for us to place the order with the vendor. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid within 15 days or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Open Box / One-Of-A-Kind): A deposit of 5% of the item price must be paid when placing an order, in order to temporarily hold the product for 15 days maximum. An additional 45% deposit must be made within the first 15 day period (bringing the deposit total to 50%), in order to continue to hold the product. The product must be paid in full within 30 days from placing the order or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • Should these terms not be met, we reserve the right to cancel your order and release any product holds at our discretion. A full refund for all deposits made will be provided back to you via the original payment method used.
  • STORAGE CHARGES
  • There are no storage charges for items held in our warehouse as long as the item is paid in accordance with the Billing Terms and Conditions listed above.
  • CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
  • We accept the following credit card payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
