A Great Replacement for a Good Ole Dryer

I bought this dryer to replace an old dryer and washer that still worked that I gave to my son and his wife. It works great is quiet and efficient. My only complaint with it echos that of others:The touch screen controls are TOO DARK. My washer/dryers are stacked putting the controls farther away from my 60 yr old eyes so illumination of the controls is an issue I have stationed a flash light next to it to aid in reading. Next design refresh please

I havent bought a dryer for some years. Having to shop for a new dryer is like shopping for a new car. The difference from driving to dryer is a bit different. All Around Great Dryer

I bought this dryer about 10 months ago and am very happy with it. It has various settings for all the different items I wash - delicates to bedding. I also like the settings that add steam to the drying cycles - it seems to make a difference in items such as towels that can start smelling a bit musty over time. I have also synced the dryer with my phone and like that it alerts me when the cycle is finished. This was not a necessity in my book but has been a nice perk.

LOVE MY LG DRYER

My old dryer died on me. I did a lot of research shopped around and really weighed my dryer options. I selected the LG and not only is it a great value has all the bells and whistles and dries my clothing incredibly. It handles large loads all fabrics and I must tell you that I am completely satisfied with it and highly recommend it to anyone. No load is to big or to small and your clothes will come out to perfection. I dont iron anymore and neither will anyone who purchases this dryer.

Weve had it for almost 2 weeks. It has several setting. Some settings you can change to personalize what you want but not an option with each setting. Still trying to figure out a few things. Not a huge fan of this lint trap style. The chime at the end is good not annoying. We also purchased the pedestals and Im very happy we did it would be extremely low without it.

I bought this based on Consumer Reports reliability ratings. My parents have an LG set and love it. So far I like it a lot. It has all of the features I wanted and then some. It runs so quiet its amazing. I have it in the laundry room in the second floor and cant tell its even on when doing laundry. My only complaint is the terrible WIFi setup process. I am very technical and had a difficult time setting it up. Why? It couldnt find my WiFi SSID on the router 10 feet away. It found 10+ other WiFi SSIDs in my neighborhood but not mine until 20+ tries on both the washer and dryer. I have an industry standard Netgear router that works fine with everything else.

I purchased both the dryer and washer as a stackable unit. They are attractive and very effocent machnes. I have my dryer linked to my phone and it signals me when my clothes are done drying. I purchased them from Bellingham Electric. I was very pleased with the entire purchasing and installation process. I am so glad I chose these two machines as replacements for my old appliances.

Great Dryer with lots of drying options

I bought this as part of a w/d set from Costco. I have had the machines for a few weeks now and have done a good deal of laundry--ranging from bathroom rugs to delicates. I am very pleased with the performance of both the washer and dryer. My only complaint is that if you are not stacking these they are so low to the ground as to be very hard on the back. The $500 option of getting two pedestals seemed high to me but you really do need them--so I had to order them separately from another store. I dont understand why the pedestals cost so much.

I do find the lights for the buttons a bit hard to read they could be more illuminated. I am still learning the programs and how they work. Overall is a good dryer.

Weve only had it a short time but so far so good. Our only annoyance so far is the soap dish always fills with water for some reason. We googled how to make it stop but nothing so far. The washer/dryer look nice and seem to work well.

As we were comparing different brands before purchasing we felt that the door latches and hinges on the LG were more substantial and like that the entire drum is lighted from above instead of a single light bulb in the back of the drum which gets covered by clothes.

This dryer works great but it is loud I contacted LG and a repair was issued for new rollers but the repair man said it was not that and it is just how the dryer is. My sister has the exact same dryer and hers is quiet.

Amazing Machine-have purchased twice now

Love the washer and dryer. I can do laundry for a family of 4 in a half day. The longest I owned the machine was for a year but I had no problems in that year. I also LOVE the black stainless steel color option.

We had a Samsung it was less than 2 years old and went bad on us. It was super noisy and then wouldnt heat up anymore. We got this dryer for a good price before Thanksgiving. We know amit of people who have had an LG for a long time and have had no complaints. So far so good. Hoping this dryer lasts years like my parents LG has. It gets good reviews on Consumer Reports I like the alert comes to my phone when its done which is actually nice. I honestly didnt think I would use it but I have.

Happy with this Dryer

My wife has been using the dryer about a month and is very happy with it. The controls are good and it dries as fast or faster than our previous dryer. The size of the dryer is also good as it fit it our tight space but can handle a good size load.

Love my WiFi dryer

Ive owned this for a few months now. I bought the dryer and the washer as a set. Ive had absolutely no problems with the dryer. The Wifi feature makes my life so much easier. It couldnt get better unless laundry did itself. However Ive had problems with keeping the washer connected to the WiFi and Ive read others have too. The dryer always works perfect with the WiFi so I know its possible and not a problem with their location. So just be aware if you want the matching set that this is a likely issue. Buying Google WiFi the extender thingies has helped but the washer still disconnects it self now again and I have to mess with it to reconnect.

Ive been using this dryer for a month now. It works perfectly. Sensor drying is right on target. I used steam refresh to remove wrinkles from a new shirt and it worked great in under 10 minutes. It is so much quieter than my old Samsung dryer and it doesnt make the whole area of my house too warm when I run it like thr Samsung did. Also the control panel is very easy to read no problems with the display lighting. We splurged to get the pedestal drawer and Im thankful for that every time I use it. Its a real back saver With 4 people in our family we do a lot of laundry. This dryer is a time saver drying faster and better not overdrying than our last dryer.

I WAS AMAZED HOW T SHIRTS AND BRIEFS CAME OUT WHITE WITHOUT ANY BLEACH AND THE CYCLE IS MUCH SHORTER THAN I AM USED TO. THE STEAM FEATURE ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR PRE-WASHING. SPIN CYCLE LEFT THE CLOTHES NEARLY DRY.

Ive had my new dryer for about a month and couldnt be happier with it I had replaced my old w/d with a similar all-in-one vertical and after using it for a couple of months was very unhappy with the performance. I replaced that unikt with the LG and what a difference My clothing doesnt get twisted the dryer takes much less time and both are so quiet that I hardly know theyre on. Im able to wash and dry my king mattress pad at home rather than take it to a professional with a large machine. And to top it off they look beautiful
