Worked great until 87 days old then suddenly wouldnt turn on. It was finally fixed on the 5th service call and almost 2 months of not having a dryer.

We purchased this dryer in September of 23. At first it worked great. Then about 3 months ago it stopped drying properly. The cool light came on and it stays on constantly. The manual says it only lights during the final cool down stage of drying. But ours never goes out. LG sent out a repair guywho has been out 4-5 times I believe. He never could figure it out and yesterday came out one last time and finally told me its supposed to be on all the time. So he just gave up. So its supposed to be in cool down mode throughout the cycle? I think not. Im so sick of this runaround. I had to take off work a full day each time they came out and for what? They never got it fixed. It stays in cool down mode in every drying cycle of every drying mode. We like the washer we got in this set but this dryer has a defect and they cannot figure it out. Buyer beware. We wont buy LG again.

My dryer died so I went on a hunt for a new one. Ive had this unit for a month now and love it. It dries well the sensors are great and I like that I can keep an eye on things from my phone while I do.other chores. The interface and buttons are all great and easy to use. Wasnt ready to spend the money but glad my old dryer died this one is so much better.

Have had 4 months - dries well and big. I can actually dry a king size down comforter. Sometimes I hear a subtle rattle - its been checked out and remains a mystery. If I adjust the machine slightly it usually goes away. Sometimes static sheets get caught in between the dryer and back of vent. In the event LG product teams read this -thats my insight Overall dries very well and has good features. If it did not have the rattle noise or if it had been resolved by the tech I would have given it 5 stars.

Worked well for 86 days then wouldnt start. Three repairs with replacement parts by an LG repair man and it still will not start. He is perplexed and not sure what to do. We now have a brand new dryer that hasnt worked for a month. This is not encouraging.

Drying function works great and is quick. The Easyload is an imperfect design. Front open function is not great only opens to about 45 degrees. Side open function is better but swings close/open/close/open even after being rebalanced. Would not buy again with this type door.

Well lets see where do i begin dryer lasted less then 6 months. Then trying to get a hold of LG for repair was almost impossible If i was a 70 year old lady or man dryer would never get fixed with all the things u have to do just before u can even get anybody to come out fill all the stuff out on line and do all these test AND then to TOP it off after all that they have to order a part to fix with out the technician coming out to check i was like these tech are GENIUSES so i wait for call for my schedule appointment because we have to order parts WOW ??? Fin i get my appointment date for July 12 They said tech would be here at 4:45 and he was WOW The tech drives up in car boy i was shocked i figured a company as big as LG would have service trucks with parts on them for what ever the technician needed to take CARE of their customer REALLY no service trucks? Well anyway the technician brings in a box saw dryer not heating. Told me that the igniter was bad he proceeded to install part was telling me how fragile this part is . Well the poor fella broke The new 1 and GUESS what we get to order another 1. Ca we dont stock any parts NOW i get to wait another 2 weeks or more for the same part. And the BEST thing about that is we still not sure if that Even gonna fix my dryer Thanks for the read

Its the worst dryer Ive ever purchased. It worked ok for about a week now it constantly errors. It takes a very long time to dry. We had the sensor changed but that hasnt helped with the errors and now it makes a horrible sound. I will definitely never purchase another LG dryer or washer

I am a die hard LG guy but a little disappointed with this dryer. I get an accumulation of lint around the top of the dryer filter insert. I cant see anything affecting this performance and have never had this problem with my previous LG dryers. Is anyone else having this problem or know what I need to do to fix this problem. We purchased this a year ago when we purchased the matching washing machine. Our previous washer/dryer were also LG products. I gave this only 2 stars because within a month of installation it had a failure in one of the sensors. Getting LG to come out to service is was a nightmare as there was no communication as to when - or IF - the service technician was going to show up. When he did show up - without prior coordination - it was early in the morning and my wife and I were still in bed and I had no choice but to tell the technician that we were never contacted that he was coming and were not prepared for his arrival. I told him to go back to his base and have his supervisor contact me so that an acceptable time could be agreed upon for his arrival. I NEVER heard back from LG even when I tried to contact them myself so that a new time could be arranged. It got to the point where the LG service center stopped accepting my calls and refused to send another technician out to look at the machine. I then contacted the store from which I purchased the dryer and had them intervene to get my dryer serviced hwhich also was not easy for them to arrange. When the technician finally arrived he found and replaced the defective sensor but then told me that the dryer vent was unacceptable and that it needed to be replaced relocated or fixed as its configuration was unacceptable for the unit. NOTE - Our previous LG dryer had worked with this vent configuration for 15+ years without a problem so I asked I asked that if it was unacceptable why wasnt I informed of that when the LG-authorized installation team performed the installation and was told that it was not their responsibility to perform this evaluation. I asked that if it wasnt their responsibility to perform that evaluation how could they install it run the post-installation diagnostics and then delare that it was installed and functioning properly? I received no response to this. I tried contacting LG Customer Service and LG Management about this and NEVER received a response. As of this date I have a $1200 dryer sitting in my basement because I am afraid to use it in case the sensor fails again and a fire occurs because of this. Instead I reinstalled my 15+ year old dryer and it has been drying our clothes without any problems ever since.

I bought an LG dryer in December and am happy with it. It dries clothes well and I have learned the settings since they are so different from the way my very old previous dryer worked. I like the door that opens two different ways. It is very handy. I didnt realize how large the inner drum is. In fact I am 6 ft tall and I have to use a wooden dowel to reach in and move clothes forward so I can take them out of the dryer. I just cant bend down that far. Probably someone younger and with better balance wouldnt have a problem. The color is a nice change from the usual boring white.

After an issue with the dryer vent and a few calls to customer service. I discovered that our vent had a birds nest inside which was why the dryer was not working properly. Since then now problems and the dryer works great except for the dryer not connecting to the app when it is on
