Very stylish its quiet and cleans the air quickly - stays on green most of the time. Disc surface appears to ship with a thin protect film but cant get a confirmation. Noticed scratches on surface with week of ownership. Can anyone confirm if the unit comes with a very thin films over the disc surface?

The item does seem to be helping with my allergic rhinitis and the air certainly feels fresher. It is not a full-room purifier because it is not particularly powerful although it does have two speed settings it works well in close proximity though so I have it on the desk when working and on the bedside cabinet when sleeping.

I have a dog that sheds more than any other dog in the history of the world. My best friend is unfortunately allergic to dogs which means every visit during shedding season was a challenge for her. 48 hours before she comes over I move the purifier to the guest room. The difference in how well she sleeps at night and doesnt wake up sneezing is amazing. As an added bonus I recently moved into an older home that had a distinctive smell to it from the previous owners. I moved the purifier from room to room easy to know when the air was clean due to the change in light from red to green. A couple of weeks after removing the odors from the house my realtor stopped by and couldnt believe how much improvement there was in the smell. Purchased under the LG employee program. Amazing solution for allergies

Allergy season hit extra hard this year in Arizona and being pregnant I am not able to take any medication. For months I was sleeping barely 4 hours a night due to being so congested. My dad bought this purifier for me and its been a god send. It takes only a few moments to go from the red zone high particle content to the green low content and I can finally breath The first night I had it in my bedroom and since I have been able to sleep through the night and not wake up with congestion and headaches We are purchasing one for our babys room as well.

I am an LG employee and I work in customer service . I purchased 2 of these units and this sliver one i put in my daughters room. It works so perfectly that when my daughter or wife use perfume in her room it picks it up and the light turns red or orange and boosts up the fan speed. With minutes it cleans out the room With allergies season this has been a huge help with finding us relief from dust and pollen . This product is amazing. All the time in the sping time my daughter always would have a stuffed up nose. At the night she cound not sleep well and would always be blowing her nose. This unit was easy to setup. I planned on making a video of the process but it turned out to be SO easy that a video was unnecessary. As I unpacked the unit the only work I needed to do was remove the standard plastic wrapping that ships with the filter. When I turned the unit on my air quality was a 37 yellow. After 30 minutes or so it was reduced to 8-10 green. As we open doors and cook we notice the particulate counter goes up to indicate additional material in the air. The unit will increase the airflow unnoticeable with two teenagers in the house and air quality will return green in 10 minutes or so. What I truly love about this product is how it handles cooking smells. There have been a couple of occasions where we use the smoke alarm as a cooking timer. Whoops Normally wed open all the doors and windows to get rid of the smells. With the LG PuriCare Air Purifier its no longer necessary. This beast of a machine will remove those smells quickly This would a great addition to any household that enjoys cooking with aromatic spices or has odor generating animals. Im looking to loan mine to a friend to see if it helps his sons asthma.

I got this air purifier not really knowing how good it really worked Getting it set up took very little time due to the clear instructions on the device and it was up and running in about 5 minutes. It immediately started to analyze the air quality in the room and was extremely quiet on the Auto setting for the fan. I was impressed with the sleek design and the air quality light in the center of the purifier lets me know Im in a clean environment or not. Im very happy so far

Powerful versatile and very efficient purifier

I began using LG PuriCare for more than a week and it has made a fascinating difference in air quality. It has an assortment of features to keep the owner abreast of air quality. The lowest fan setting is undeniably quiet. The high setting is more like a fan on medium speed as its certainly little audible but would not call it loud. Auto setting is incredibly quiet. The control panel and display offers an easy way to get the most from the Puricare. Buttons are nice and large and are on top of the console. The light changes color to indicate the indoor air quality from green best to yellow orange and red worst. More than that: a Particulate Matter indicator shows the density of dust for 3 different sizes providing a more granular way for me to assess the air quality in my home. LG PuriCare Air purifier not only has a sleek design but also a modern look. The round console and clean finishes looks very elegant to the room where you place it. Our friends said One cannot tell this is an air purifier it is so stylish and contemporary Overall I give high ratings for design airflow and noise and air quality readings is very easy to understand. On a flip side it does require filter replacement every year. Our family recommends LG Puricare and we will buy another one soon for second room.

I love this machine

I received this device and was not sure it would work. My daughter has a lot of allergies and the pollen count is high in my area. After using the PuriCare for two nights she seemed to improve. A week later she is taking less medication for her allergies. The air in the room seems crisper and fresher. I was worried that it would sound like a fan running all the but it is very quiet and I have to look at the device to see if it is on. The filters are quick to take out and easy to clean.

I received my LG PuriCare Air Purifier and put it to the test over the last several days. I have owned one air purifier before a tower model that cost quite a lot back in the day. I have to say I was very skeptical of any air purifiers because for all the cash spent on the old one I never felt it did anything other than create an odd smell in the room it was running in. I have had allergies where I end up stuffy and sneezing at night and was hoping the air purifier would help with dust etc. I stopped using the old one years ago since it made no difference to me. I dont know if air purifier technology has in general improved a lot since then but I have to say this LG unit is quite impressive. The air already feels cleaner to me and the general amount of dust in the room is already noticeable lower. I can tell from the amount of dust built up in the filter that it is definitely doing its job. There is a circular light right in the center of the front face which shows a color indicating the quality of the air. Green is for good quality and then ranges from yellow through red completely contaminated air. After initial power on it takes about 30 seconds to determine the air quality and then starts purifying with settings accordingly matched to the current air quality. I like that you get some indication of the current air quality instead of just plugging it in and hoping it is doing something like all the other air purifiers Ive seen. The unit is also very quiet it will power up and be more noticeable occasionally as it detects more dust but for the most part it is very quiet and has never woken me up. There is a Turbo option which runs for a half hour in maximum cleanup mode which is great for initial use or after some major pollutants/smells. It has a child lock feature which is great for me because my little guy was definitely curious about this thing and started hitting all the buttons as soon as he saw it. It locks out all the buttons including the power button. The filers are very easy to remove and clean see video. It has multiple filters each having its own purpose one for larger particles one for pollens dust etc and one for odors. It also has a setting for adjusting the PM density results for different dust particle size. After its auto detect at initial startup it set this to the 10 option for me and I just left it there as that handles particles 10m and below. It claims to handle all sorts of toxic chemicals as well as sterilizing the air from viruses allergens and bacteria. As seen in my video in the first room I tried it it read 22 initially and then that quickly came down to around 8/9 after running it for a few minutes. When I took it to my bedroom it read 88 I let it do its thing for a while and saw that it was automatically switching the dust particle size indicator and spinning the fan higher and lower. The reading for the current air quality slowly moved down as I ran it and the indicator went slowly from red to orange to yellow and eventually to green. It took about 2 hours to reach Green status. The odor reduction also seems to work but dont expect miracles. I have a 4 month old and a 2.5 year old and it didnt exactly immediately eliminate the diaper smells after changing them. They did dissipate quicker though than without the unit especially if I close the bedroom door. Over the last few days I definitely have noticed a major reduction in allergic sniffling due to dust since I started using this thing so it definitely is working. Overall I am happy with the unit. My only complaints are: I wish it had a mode to turn off the status indicator light as it can be distracting at night in a dark room and second I wish you could use it to get rid of cooking odors as those can be strong depending on what youve cooked. But it specifically says not to use it for that purpose. Not a big deal though as that is not the primary purpose of this unit.

I received this a week ago and so far am pretty impressed. It has a very nice design to it and although it is large the asthetics help it to meld into the background. I like how the filtered air shoots out the top of the unit. So far so good

My first impression of the LG Puricare was that it was smaller than the impression I got from LGs brochure photos. I was happy about that. I also liked the round design better than I thought I would. Initially I thought it would be obtrusive but stylish. Instead it is small and stylish. I placed it near my dresser in the bedroom and the height just covers the wall outlet. Taking it out of the box you only need to open the back door and remove the plastic from the filters. The filters are a set of three circles that snap together. The cleaning/replacement instructions for the filter are indicated by sticker on the frame. There is also a small dust sensor that needs wiping with a cotton swab every six months. The very neat thing about this purifier is that a sensor indicates the condition of the air and all you need to do is glance at the color. Green is good red is bad. A sticker on the unit gives more detail on the color range and what qualifies for good. I turned the unit on it has a happy musical chime like the LG washer and dryers and it was set to auto. It sensed the particulate matter and adjusted the fan. I couldnt hear anything. It really is very quiet. Later I moved the unit to a busier area of the house it cleans a room of up to 248sf and we heard the fan speed up to account for the increase in dust. It was not an obtrusive sound- and it was nice to know it was working. Soon after it went back to the low setting. So far we are really happy with this purifier. My kids say they noticed the difference in the air already.

Living in a house with multiple cats we decided to try a quality Air Purifier. I first tried an Air Ionizer. The ionization bothered my breathing so I returned it did not hold out high hopes for an Air Purifier. I selected LG because of the outstanding performance of their Top-Of-The-Line Washer Dryer the quiet most effective laundry equipment I have ever owned. WOW What a pleasant surprise The Air Purifier is whisper quiet see photo showing where I actually measured the Noise level. Odors? GONE Friends visiting our home with Allergies or Asthma? NO SYMPTOMS Maintenance? The LG PuriCare indicates when to order when to replace the filter. There are actually 3 filters. Step 1 filter should be washed 1ce / month. Steps 2 and 3 should be replaced annually. No tools required. Please refer to my HD video that illustrates how easy it is to change the filter Power Consumption? 3 WATTS on the normal Low Speed This is an Energy Star Certified Product. CONCLUSION: The LG PuriCare is a KEEPER for our Feline Friendly Home

Sleek Quiet Efficient

I have had this in my home now for a few weeks and can honestly say it has been a pure pleasure to own. The purifier runs very quietly and always monitors the air quality. It is an intuitive machine and easy to set up and maintain. It is energy efficient and the electrical usage was barely noticeable on my energy bill which is a HUGE bonus. It also has a timer so you can program hours of usage. The design is sleek and modern but can easily fit into any type of decor. My home is rather eclectic with a traditional flair and this modern purifier blends well because of its unobtrusive need for space. It has a very small footprint. It is approximately 18 in.H x 18 in.W x 8 in.D and easy to maneuver to allow best airflow.

At Queen Appliance we only offer 'white-glove' delivery services, so you never have to worry about additional charges to put a product in place, carry up stairs, or hook up hoses, water lines, and power chords. Installation charges do apply for built-in or gas appliances, but we will always be drastically less expensive than hiring an electrician or plumber! Call a Sales Associate to verify delivery and installation charges.

We may sell a lot of scratched & dented appliances, but we take great pride in the fact that we do not CREATE our own Scratch & Dent merchandise.

Measure Dimensions

Queen will always take responsibility for mistakes that we make; however taking proper measurements at home is the responsibility of the customer. Do not forget to measure doorways, any space that the appliance must travel through to get to its destination, as well as the final installation place. We can provide cut sheets and detailed specs for all of our appliances, so check with your sales- person. Unfortunately, if returns happen due to a customer's negligence to measure properly, we must charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs and re-sell an unboxed piece. If desired, our drivers can come out to measure ahead of time for a small fee. Please note: We do not remove door molding or cut any cabinetry.

Delivery Time Windows

We understand that all customers have jobs and personal obligations, which is why we are committed to giving you a 2-3 hour time window for your delivery. Never should you have to wait around all day for a delivery, as with much of our competition. Please understand that we must route the truck geographically, so any special delivery time requests will be taken very seriously but can never be guaranteed. Your time window will be set the evening before and you will receive it through a phone call from our Phoenixville branch. If you have not received your time window by 7:30 pm, please call 610-933-2900 (Option 2 for Retail Sales) and check with a Sales Associate.

Directions and Cross Streets

Your salesperson is responsible for asking all the necessary details to get your new appliances to your home, however if they forget to ask for the nearest cross street please call and let them know. GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so the nearest cross street and any directions or details that you feel will help them are greatly appreciated and necessary for our drivers (i.e. low bridges, unmarked roads, landmarks, etc.).

Standard Installations

If our delivery team deems any installation as 'non-standard' they will require your approval and signature before proceeding. In addition, an additional fee may be charged depending on the nature of the situation to compensate for additional time spent and materials used, similar to working with any other contractor. 'Non-standard' installations include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:


Flooring that is raised or built on top of a pre-existing floor makes dishwasher installations very difficult. Cutting off legs of the old dishwasher may be required for removal, but will only be performed with your authorization and signature. There is no guarantee that your dishwasher can be installed if your floor is raised too high, so please discuss this possibility with your salesperson so you can purchase a dishwasher that has more flexibility for your particular installation needs. If a dishwasher installation is beyond the scope of our trained professionals, we might insist on refunding your delivery fee and leaving the project for your own contractor. As a conscientious delivery crew, we always choose to error on the side of protecting your property and avoiding a sloppy installation.

Gas Ranges and Dryers

Gas valves must be located in the appropriate position behind the appliance, as we cannot reposition or manipulate any gas line. We will not touch gas valves on the outside of the house and be responsible for restarting your pilot lights.

Electric Ranges and Dryers

Hardwiring ranges and dryers does not meet the required regulations. We come prepared with 3 prong ($19.95) and 4 prong receptacles ($29.95) which must be installed and will hang loose, but safely, behind the unit. This nominal fee is significantly less than hiring an electrician, so please cooperate with our installers who insist on following local code. Look behind your appliance...If there is a 220v outlet, there will be no additional charges. New cords must always be purchased (3 Prong - $12.95, 4 Prong - $16.95), even with a receptacle installation, as we never take the risk of using an old and possibly frayed cord.

Washing Machines

Old fill hoses can leak or burst. Queen insists on protecting your property by using only new hoses for every one of our washer installations. Some machines come with new rubber hoses, while many do not, so be prepared to purchase new rubber or stainless steel ones for a small fee. If you insist on using your old hoses, that is not a problem, however we will only put the unit in place and you must sign and indicate that you will be hooking up the hoses yourself. 5 foot fill hoses are always used, which is longer than the standard 4 foot; however some tight spaces require longer fill hoses and drain hose extensions for a small fee (i.e. laundry centers).


Refrigerator water lines can only be connected to copper tubing (no charge for install) or via poly line to a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator (small fee for materials). The installers can run a new water line with copper tubing for $79.95.

Inclement Weather

Please understand that our hard-working delivery crew cannot control inclement weather and traffic conditions. If emergencies arise you will be notified and rescheduling arrangements will be made to the best of our abilities. Completing all of our deliveries is a commitment we always keep, and we never intend to inconvenience any of our customers.

Scratch & Dent Appliances

Since Scratch & Dent appliances have pre-existing damage, please make sure to fill out a damage detail form with your salesperson. Our drivers take great pride in protecting your purchases, one of the main reasons we do not sub-contract our delivery team.


Removals of old appliances are $5 for each piece ($15 for Refrigerators) or can be taken outside for your bulk trash pickup at no charge.

  • All merchandise must be inspected and tested at the time of delivery.
  • Queen Appliance is not responsible for customer installation errors.
  • All dimensions must be approved for all major appliances. All no-fit and good stock returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus a re-delivery charge, if applicable. Merchandise must be in its original condition and include all original packing materials, accessories, product manuals and warranty cards. There will be no refund for labor, delivery and/or installation services for good stock returns.
  • If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon delivery you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange*. After this period, the manufacturer requires in-home service. If the appliance is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer it will be replaced in accordance with their individual service/return policies.
  • If you receive a cartoned product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is not replaceable** you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange***. After this period, the manufacturer does not authorize damage returns. If you receive a product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is replaceable**, you have 14 days from the time of delivery to request a replacement part at no charge.
  • Queen Appliance reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason. In rare cases, some appliances are non-returnable.
  • * Scratch & Dent appliances and Special Buy items are often one of a kind and sold at significant discounts, therefore if no exact replacement model is available you may apply the credit for that appliance toward a different model. Queen Appliance will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer.
  • ** Examples of replaceable cosmetic parts include, but are not limited to:
    • Handles
    • Knobs
    • Panels
    • Feet/Leveling Legs
    • Escutcheon Plate/Panel
    • Toe Kick/Kick Plate
    • etc
  • *** Scratch & Dent and other unboxed items are subject to the agreement at the time of sale. Customer must sign that the appliance arrived in the same condition that it was purchased. If any additional damage is noticed, please contact your sales associate immediately at the time of delivery. Returns after the time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. Damage returns will not be authorized after 72 hours, although replacement parts can be ordered up to 14 days from the time of delivery. Queen Appliance reserves the right to determine if a cosmetic part is to be replaced or if the product should be returned instead.

  • Payments are to be made to Queen Appliance without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement.
  • Online Orders: The balance of the invoice must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Factory-Direct / New In Box Orders): A deposit of 50% of the invoice price must be paid when placing an order, in order for us to place the order with the vendor. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid within 15 days or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Open Box / One-Of-A-Kind): A deposit of 5% of the item price must be paid when placing an order, in order to temporarily hold the product for 15 days maximum. An additional 45% deposit must be made within the first 15 day period (bringing the deposit total to 50%), in order to continue to hold the product. The product must be paid in full within 30 days from placing the order or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • Should these terms not be met, we reserve the right to cancel your order and release any product holds at our discretion. A full refund for all deposits made will be provided back to you via the original payment method used.
  • There are no storage charges for items held in our warehouse as long as the item is paid in accordance with the Billing Terms and Conditions listed above.
  • We accept the following credit card payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
