When I could no longer get parts for my old gas stove, it was time to go shopping. I am a serious cook and baker and wanted a stove that would do it all: cooking, baking and canning. When I described what I wanted in a new stove, the salesman directed me to this model. My satisfaction with my Kitchen Aid small appliances did predispose me to choosing this particular stove, but it had all the features I wanted: the larger oven on top, a wide range of baking options, continuous grates, powerful burners, and easy clean-up of any spills. I really like this stove. It is an excellent piece of kitchen equipment and I recommend it without any reservations whatsoever.

Beware of Aqualift Cleaning Feature

I was so disappointed when I went to do my first oven cleaning with the new "Aqualift" technology. Thinking , "well maybe a 2nd cycle will do the job" I attempted again. As you can see by the attached photo, the results were dismal. Only after my own experience did I look at other owner reviews with the same problem. How this company can get away with marketing a cleaning function that does not work is beyond me. I see there are attempts for a class action suit on the Aqualift feature. If I can find one... I'm all in.

I have used this for less than 2 years and keep running into issues. First off, the door and oven run very hot. This is due to the newer design and the bigger glass window. However, if you have small kids like me, this is too risky and dangerous. I don't even want them in the kitchen when I have the oven on. On top of that, I just tried to bump up the temperature to more than 350 to see how hot the oven door would get and my oven won't turn on. I have had this happen in the past, but I have no clue as to why it is quitting on me now. I'm sitting in the middle of my kitchen with a pan full of muffins that I can't bake. What a joke! This product needs a 10 year warranty! Less than two years in and look at the issues I'm having. Save yourself time, burns, and money and go with another range.

This oven has been nothing but trouble. Tempered glass schattered all over brand new kitchen and son heard it so crawled over and cut knee. Control panel quit working and had to be replaced. Now cooling fan keeps throwing a error code. Takes a week each time and seem the tech has wrong part each time even tough they have model and serial number. Matching microwave failed as well, door had to be replaced. I am disappointed to say the least. Kit henaid has fixed it each time but it is getting to the point that I am wanting a replacement since all the problems. I would not purchase again and would have went with a different manufacturer but bought all matching kitchenaid. Hope if there are anymore problems that they will make it right.

This range is about 13 mos old and have had nothing but trouble; always leaves me hanging on weekends; holidays. It has been unusable at least 4X over that time period, including right now. I have owned ranges for 40+ yrs and cannot remember having a service call, but techs have been here 4X for this range during 13 mos. I am at the point that I would have it hauled out of here and replace it with anything other than a KitchenAid/Whirlpool product!

Purchased this in January and had it come in March. I have been using it for a few weeks and am extremely satisfied so far. The only thing I was not happy about were the plastic knobs. I feel it makes the appliance look cheap. I would purchase metal ones if they were available. All in all a decent product.

Two ovens. No waiting

The range I replaced had a "warming drawer", but it wasn't a real oven, it could only go up to 350 degrees. This drawer is the real deal. It is perfect for heating frozen convenience foods, and, as the name implies, baking. Anything that is low and flat. I'm still getting used to convection cooking, maybe I would have more to say about that later. As for stovetop cooking, I definitely notice an improvement in control of the flame. True simmering is easy. On the large burner, a big pot of water for pasta comes to a boil quickly. I am very very pleased with this handsome range, it's inspiring me to try new things as I get to know its capabilities. And best of all, quality construction in the USA!

We baked twice and then the major baking cavity stop heating up. Went through 90 day warranty and was contracted to California Appliance Tech located in Long Beach. Great tech but the company was horrible. Our service request was schedule on 03/10/2017 and California Appliance Tech stated the part will be here by 04/12/2017. That is outrageous!!! Called Kitchenaid 3 times and that couldn't get a hold of them either. Called kitchenaid the 4th time and they were able to get the part shipped to me directly within 3 business days. Currently on hold with California Appliance Tech for about 20min and still waiting to ask them to come out and install it again. If I knew kitchenaid contracted California Appliance Tech through there 90 day warranty I would buy Kithcenaid again.

We purchased all new kitchenaid appliances last year for our kitchen. We purchased kitchenaid because it was a name brand and I thought high quality. Luckily we purchased the extended warranty. after less than a year we had to have our second service call. The oven didn't work. We had already had parts installed for the baking drawer which still does not work. Now, once again, the oven does not work. I am sorry I purchased this product.

It's most definitely one of the prettiest stoves I have ever seen, I am most happy with it. However, it's not perfect. The touch glass, really no other place for it, but it will see splashes, every time you cook, even with over-sized pots. A) You should offer like a ZAGG screen protector, like they have for cell phones. B) Also, I am having a piece of glass cut, to cover the whole top of the ungrilled part of the oven: 3 7/8" x 29 1/8" x 3/8" green glass, it will be beautiful, and keep all splashes off the screen. < I think this should come with the over; at that price, it's a real investment. And if you do offer it in the future, maybe reimburse me, for the idea? Oh, and instead of 3/8" thick glass, 7/16" would be perfect, with the non-slide flat rubber dots, it would lift the glass perfectly, to the top, of the bottom swoosh on the iron grill. C) Save some money, loose the remote, and create an app, so that we can use our phones as remotes instead. I like the remote, very cool, but it would be one less thing, and it could also keep you informed of how people use your products, to influence future design. Thank you so much!

I got this because of the look and ratings of the model. Really modernized my kitchen; upgrading from a basic contractor grade gas stove. So far I love this new Stove. Have baked in it and temperature holds as set very easy to use. Noticed several reviews that said it was easy to hit and turn on without meaning too. We are an adult household and I have not noticed this challenge. Would highly recommend.

Got this range delivered in Nov., 2016. Took up to March 16, 2017 to get the meat probe. The cooktop is AWFUL to clean and was not put together correctly. We found a huge gap by the stainless that houses the digital command center and the rest of the top. I have been a kitchenaid fan all my life. I hope the lady in the corporate center answers my email and gives me the opportunity to exchange this for a different model. I am very disappointed in this product. The cook drawer houses less than a two. Inch pan, making it not useable most of the time. Certainly not worth the money. So sad in this product. Very disappointed, very.

I am thoroughly pleased with my new convection oven. Three holiday dinners, and I couldn't be happier. I've quickly become a big fan of Kitchen Aid. We recently moved into our new home. My previous home was equipped with Viking appliances. I see many shared details and features in my new Kitchen Aid. The convection converter is a time saver. The 19,000 btu capacity on the burner is great. The separate baking tray is fantastic. The self cleaning feature at a low temperature for two hours vs. 900 degrees for five hours is an energy saver. It requires a bit more of an effort, but if I get in there quickly enough, grease comes off easily. While new to the Kitchen Aid brand, I think it's going to be quickly discovered by serious cooks looking for a higher grade appliance and value.

Love this oven, but WISH it had TWO "drawer" style oven racks (roll out instead of the pull out racks - it has one "roll out" style and one regular). The only real drawback is that the stove top burner racks are heavy and difficult for me to take off to clean the stove top.

I love this stove! I've been waiting to get one for a few years. I also bought the coordinating microwave. Everyone that has seen it can't believe how beautiful it is. It was installed the day before Thanksgiving. I did as instructed to prep the oven. It was a great first experience with the unit. I cooked on top, oven and bottom drawer all at the same time. Amazing! The only negative thing so far was one of the interior lights blew out after a week. I was concerned afraid of a internal problem but spoke to a tech and all is fine. This unit is attractive and functional. I love to cook and bake so I am in seventh heaven over here. I would highly recommend this unit. I went from an electric range that I really disliked to this gas range. No regrets!

The only problem I have is how do I clean the black grates on the stove top. If I wipe it with a sponge, paper towel, it leaves residue from the items that I use to clean. It is very abrasive. Otherwise the stainless steel cleans up beautifully.

I read reviews, visited showrooms, talked to people, and finally decided on KitchenAid. It's been over a month and I'm still excited when I power my new range up! I enjoy cooking and I have been secretly waiting for my old oven to bite the dust. I did lots of research and looked a lot at the competition before selecting this particular KitchenAid. It has all the features I love and such a step up from my previous unit. Multiple btu's allow for fast cooking, great searing, and the ability to really simmer dishes. The baking drawer is the next best thing to a double oven. Easier to clean than my previous cooktop. Looks great! Love this thing!!

I bought this right before Thanksgiving and the oven is huge. I was able to roast a 23 lb turkey with Room to spare for other dishes. The baking drawer was wonderful. I baked desert at the same time. Everything was cooked and hot at that same time. I was so impressed. I love this stove.

This is a convection range, the convection light indicator doesn't function, had a repair specialist try to correct the problem 3 times, replaced multiple part and still no convection light indicator. The help line told the repair man that that is not a function on some models, I have to shine a flashlight into the oven to confirm the convection fan is spinning. I also find the some of stovetop burners difficult to control the heat, to simmer I need to switch burners

I really like the large burners being on the front. Having a fifth burner is great. The steam bake only had preset temp which disappointed me. I bought this to bake bread and my usual temp for it is well above the preset. Also the unit came scratched and we had to ask our retailer to fix it. Still waiting to see if that will work out

Only drawback is that the oven didn't get up to heat properly initially because the gas line internal connection for the main oven was not aligned properly which stopped the oven from igniting properly. It was actually making a loud explosive pop when initially lit. Thanks to a really good repairman, he immediately aligned it and I an mow in business!

After only 6 months this very expensive oven would not work. It was saying that there was a fan failure, however the digital panel half of numbers are not working on that also. It took them over two months to change the fan and then another three weeks to replace the digital section on the top of the stove which is ridiculous.

The only problem I have with this stove is o had to convert it to propane and it's not as hot as natural gas which leads to undercooked food having said that I have figured out it's roughly 25' off and I make up the difference

I bought this in January and was very excited about the features. The burners are great and the oven looks good with other stainless steel appliances. However, have used the oven only 4-5 times and during this holiday season the oven gave me an error code about the heat sensor followed all the steps to reset but no change both ovens are not working. So far the customer service is not been super helpful. This is an expensive oven (at least for us). So disappointing to have this happen.

I have had this range barely a year and have had to have the fan replaced and yesterday while baking cookies with my daughters the oven door glass shattered into a million pieces. Scared us to death! KitchenAid will only cover the cost of the part. I have to pay $200 labor to have it fixed! Should have stayed with GE appliances as I never had any issues with them.

The range keeps setting off my smoke alarms! I have washed the interior and all grates. Read about "break in" procedures & have run at 500 degrees for an hour. When it cools, I'll wipe everything down again. Hopefully this will do the trick

My husband bought our new stove! It has all the features I was looking for! So much to still learn about it, but really in love with it. I have been using the oven for 2 months now. I really enjoy the large oven space and large window. The burners however are not as wonderful as I would like. The 2 grates on top allow a nice even cook top but I find it also is a bit awkward to clean. The grates are also a bit high and don't allow a good contact hight for roasting vegetables. I do like the steam tray and use it regularly when I bake bread. However when I pour water into the tray I am concerned for the oven glass when the oven is hot. I have found the oven timer controls to be annoying. The baking drawer does not seem to have a good closed seal. For this reason I have not tried it.

I remodeled my kitchen and splurged on Kitchen Aid appliances. My new range was installed a week before Thanksgiving - hooray! Then Thanksgiving Day, with 13 people here waiting for dinner, the oven quit. Well, it would get to 230 degrees but no higher. On top of that, one of the burners shoots out a flame where it's not supposed to go, the knobs on the burners turn too easily (as in, don't brush up against it), and it was missing the temperature probe. The retailer is switching it out for another (same model) next week, hopefully the next one will perform better!

Measure Dimensions

Queen will always take responsibility for mistakes that we make; however taking proper measurements at home is the responsibility of the customer. Do not forget to measure doorways, any space that the appliance must travel through to get to its destination, as well as the final installation place. We can provide cut sheets and detailed specs for all of our appliances, so check with your sales- person. Unfortunately, if returns happen due to a customer's negligence to measure properly, we must charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs and re-sell an unboxed piece. If desired, our drivers can come out to measure ahead of time for a small fee. Please note: We do not remove door molding or cut any cabinetry.

Delivery Time Windows

We understand that all customers have jobs and personal obligations, which is why we are committed to giving you a 2-3 hour time window for your delivery. Never should you have to wait around all day for a delivery, as with much of our competition. Please understand that we must route the truck geographically, so any special delivery time requests will be taken very seriously but can never be guaranteed. Your time window will be set the evening before and you will receive it through a phone call from our Phoenixville branch. If you have not received your time window by 7:30 pm, please call 610-933-2900 (Option 2 for Retail Sales) and check with a Sales Associate.

Directions and Cross Streets

Your salesperson is responsible for asking all the necessary details to get your new appliances to your home, however if they forget to ask for the nearest cross street please call and let them know. GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so the nearest cross street and any directions or details that you feel will help them are greatly appreciated and necessary for our drivers (i.e. low bridges, unmarked roads, landmarks, etc.).

Standard Installations

If our delivery team deems any installation as 'non-standard' they will require your approval and signature before proceeding. In addition, an additional fee may be charged depending on the nature of the situation to compensate for additional time spent and materials used, similar to working with any other contractor. 'Non-standard' installations include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:

Dishwashers

Flooring that is raised or built on top of a pre-existing floor makes dishwasher installations very difficult. Cutting off legs of the old dishwasher may be required for removal, but will only be performed with your authorization and signature. There is no guarantee that your dishwasher can be installed if your floor is raised too high, so please discuss this possibility with your salesperson so you can purchase a dishwasher that has more flexibility for your particular installation needs. If a dishwasher installation is beyond the scope of our trained professionals, we might insist on refunding your delivery fee and leaving the project for your own contractor. As a conscientious delivery crew, we always choose to error on the side of protecting your property and avoiding a sloppy installation.

Gas Ranges and Dryers

Gas valves must be located in the appropriate position behind the appliance, as we cannot reposition or manipulate any gas line. We will not touch gas valves on the outside of the house and be responsible for restarting your pilot lights.

Electric Ranges and Dryers

Hardwiring ranges and dryers does not meet the required regulations. We come prepared with 3 prong ($19.95) and 4 prong receptacles ($29.95) which must be installed and will hang loose, but safely, behind the unit. This nominal fee is significantly less than hiring an electrician, so please cooperate with our installers who insist on following local code. Look behind your appliance...If there is a 220v outlet, there will be no additional charges. New cords must always be purchased (3 Prong - $12.95, 4 Prong - $16.95), even with a receptacle installation, as we never take the risk of using an old and possibly frayed cord.

Washing Machines

Old fill hoses can leak or burst. Queen insists on protecting your property by using only new hoses for every one of our washer installations. Some machines come with new rubber hoses, while many do not, so be prepared to purchase new rubber or stainless steel ones for a small fee. If you insist on using your old hoses, that is not a problem, however we will only put the unit in place and you must sign and indicate that you will be hooking up the hoses yourself. 5 foot fill hoses are always used, which is longer than the standard 4 foot; however some tight spaces require longer fill hoses and drain hose extensions for a small fee (i.e. laundry centers).

Refrigerators

Refrigerator water lines can only be connected to copper tubing (no charge for install) or via poly line to a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator (small fee for materials). The installers can run a new water line with copper tubing for $79.95.

Inclement Weather

Please understand that our hard-working delivery crew cannot control inclement weather and traffic conditions. If emergencies arise you will be notified and rescheduling arrangements will be made to the best of our abilities. Completing all of our deliveries is a commitment we always keep, and we never intend to inconvenience any of our customers.

Scratch & Dent Appliances

Since Scratch & Dent appliances have pre-existing damage, please make sure to fill out a damage detail form with your salesperson. Our drivers take great pride in protecting your purchases, one of the main reasons we do not sub-contract our delivery team.

Removals

Removals of old appliances are $5 for each piece ($15 for Refrigerators) or can be taken outside for your bulk trash pickup at no charge.

  • All merchandise must be inspected and tested at the time of delivery.
  • Queen Appliance is not responsible for customer installation errors.
  • GOOD STOCK RETURNS
  • All dimensions must be approved for all major appliances. All no-fit and good stock returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus a re-delivery charge, if applicable. Merchandise must be in its original condition and include all original packing materials, accessories, product manuals and warranty cards. There will be no refund for labor, delivery and/or installation services for good stock returns.
  • DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
  • If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon delivery you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange*. After this period, the manufacturer requires in-home service. If the appliance is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer it will be replaced in accordance with their individual service/return policies.
  • DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
  • If you receive a cartoned product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is not replaceable** you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange***. After this period, the manufacturer does not authorize damage returns. If you receive a product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is replaceable**, you have 14 days from the time of delivery to request a replacement part at no charge.
  • Queen Appliance reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason. In rare cases, some appliances are non-returnable.
  • * Scratch & Dent appliances and Special Buy items are often one of a kind and sold at significant discounts, therefore if no exact replacement model is available you may apply the credit for that appliance toward a different model. Queen Appliance will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer.
  • ** Examples of replaceable cosmetic parts include, but are not limited to:
    • Handles
    • Knobs
    • Panels

  • *** Scratch & Dent and other unboxed items are subject to the agreement at the time of sale. Customer must sign that the appliance arrived in the same condition that it was purchased. If any additional damage is noticed, please contact your sales associate immediately at the time of delivery. Returns after the time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. Damage returns will not be authorized after 72 hours, although replacement parts can be ordered up to 14 days from the time of delivery. Queen Appliance reserves the right to determine if a cosmetic part is to be replaced or if the product should be returned instead.

  • BILLING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Payments are to be made to Queen Appliance without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement.
  • Online Orders: The balance of the invoice must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Factory-Direct / New In Box Orders): A deposit of 50% of the invoice price must be paid when placing an order, in order for us to place the order with the vendor. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid within 15 days or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Open Box / One-Of-A-Kind): A deposit of 5% of the item price must be paid when placing an order, in order to temporarily hold the product for 15 days maximum. An additional 45% deposit must be made within the first 15 day period (bringing the deposit total to 50%), in order to continue to hold the product.
