This is my second KitchenAid electric range. Loved the first one and love this one. I could have put in a gas range, but really love the versatility of a glass cooktop. The burners heat very evenly. I like that I have a lot of choice to size of cook top and level of temperatures. The Class top has no "snow"... that white speckle seen on many other glass tops and when clean it sparkles black and sleek. I do miss the built in oven thermometer I had with the first range, but will purchase an after market to handle my standing rib roasts.

We purchased a stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave after remodeling our kitchen. I absolutely hate the stove. The oven temperature is never correct, no matter how many times I adjust it. This new agua cleaning system is terrible. It just doesn't work. You can't use any products that work with regular self cleaning ovens. When I am wiping of the top of the stove the control panel will turn things on or off. I've had the oven go off and didn't even realize it. We haven't even had them a year and I told my husband he has to get me a new stove. I hate this one that much.

Impossible to keep glass top clean

The oven is very nice, the controls are good, appearance overall good. But I just can't over how impossible it is to keep the glass top clean. My last whirlpool was easier than this. If you even boil water and it splashes over, if you don't wipe it up right away, get ready to scrub the next time. I am so frustrated with this because I know I have seen tops that clean so easily. I bought a better quality kitchenAid not even thinking this would be an issue. The range is only 5 months old.

We waited for 18 months after we purchased our black stainless refrigerator before we received our black stainless range. The electric heating elements heat very quickly which we like. The glass touch controls needs some revision. If you have something in the oven and wipe across the control panel it shuts the oven off. We lock the controls when not in use because it is to easy to turn on the oven etc. Also the black stainless finish scratches easily. We already have scratches around the glass touch controls maybe from setting/sliding things on the cook top. We have the black stainless refrigerator that also scratches easily. The black stainless needs to have a better black stainless finish.

Needed major repair after one year

A few days after the one year warranty ran out, the oven would not longer operate. We had to call a repair service and discovered the cooling fan was defective. The repair cost us close to $400. The range cost us close to $2,000. We contacted Kitchen Aid on two occasions and there response was indifferent. "Things break; parts need to be replaced." This was extremely disappointing as I thought Kitchen Aid represented a company that stood by its products. We purchased all Kitchen Aid appliances for a kitchen remodel and I am very disappointed. I have never had to replace an item in a range less than 10 years old.

I'm not kidding when I say that this stove made me a better cook. It's the easiest stove I've ever used. The control of the heat settings versus the size of the pan you're using is a fantastic feature. Most glass top stoves I've used simply adjust heat and size at the same ratio, meaning it will overcook whatever is on a larger skillet. With this, I can slow cook large dishes at a lower temperature, and even let it simmer with the "simmer" feature. Baking is also a breeze, and incredibly user friendly, so that even my nine year old could use it to bake cupcakes for Father's Day!

I am very happy with the stove itself. It meets all of my expectations when it comes to the stove top and oven. The actual inside of the oven seems much larger than my old Jenn-Air and I really love the large window which lets you see into the oven without having to open the door. It keeps the meat moist and seems to cook true to temperature. The only thing I am not too happy about is how the range actually fits into the center Island. Kitchenaid makes a trim kit that I received at no charge. Unfortunately, if your countertops are not quite level (which is true for mine) this trim kit does not work well. It has beveled edges that meet up at each end and given that my counters are not level it does not match correctly. Not the fault of KitchenAid but if they made a more simple trim kit one would not have to worry about matching the beveled edges of the trim kit.

We bought 4 ka appliances with a kitchen renovation. So far after 8 months the fridge has failed and the service tech had been here 4 times. A few things, oven takes a long time to preheat and a long time to cool down. Fan runs forever. I've used electric forever. All of the elements are very hot, even on low things burn. It has been a challenge to adjust to this effenciency?

I bought this range on 05/01/2017. True to the KitchenAid reputation, this is a wonderful Range. The sleek lines, no backsplash and 5 burner top are terrific. The Convection Oven is on point. My only complaint is how difficult it is to clean the ceramic glass top. If you cook anything that is sticky, you must wait until the glass cools to "scrap" it off. This is a pain and there is residue. Anything with oil, leaves a film on the glass that is another bear to clean. The performance of the product is terrific, the clean up of the glass no so much.

I am still getting used to this stove as it cooks very differently than my stove of 40 years. So many choices of temps that cook way hotter than I'm used to. Would like to have some of the burners in different places. I tend to cook on the right hand side of the cook top and the very largest burner that you can't size is on that side. I would rather the burner that has three different size options at that place. I have the same complaints about the glass cook top being hard to clean, but I finally found a product that I like and use the glass scraper with it for cooked on food. I clean it each and every night as soon as it cools which is a bit of a pain. Oven and broiler take forever to get hot, but once hot cook well. When cleaning the cook top, I keep hitting the touch pad since it's on top and even with the cook top. I have left the stove light on overnight due to not noticing that I have inadvertently turned it on and it has a separate cancel button. I think once I get the learning curve down I will like the stove. Have to admit, it's one of the best looking stoves out there.

I love the look of this oven as it is so professional looking. However, it is very large as ovens go and as a result it takes much longer for foods to cook at the same temperature I have always cooked things in my older, smaller oven. You have to get used to that and adjust accordingly. If I use the convection cooking method, the time is of course shorter, however, I get a lot of smoke circulating not only in the oven, but out of the back vent and I have to open every window and turn on every fan in the house. Not good. The manual did state that that could happen initially, but it is continuing to happen and I think it might be a default. I just have to make a lot of adjustments to my cooking that I really wish I didn't have to. Therefore, I could never recommend this oven to anyone.

Only had this stove for two weeks and am still learning the settings for it. Do love all the options on the cook top from super boil to the melt feature and all in between. I tend to use the right hand front element the most and wish the triple element was in this spot instead of left front. Only have used the broiler once, but it seemed to cycle on and off too much taking a long time to just brown some garlic bread. As with all glass cook tops, cleaning is a pain. Finally found a paste that I like and also a glass scraper for the hard cooked on bits. Between the two, I'm able to get the glass looking like it did when first delivered, but this takes daily scrubbing/cleaning. I'm sure I will love this stove once I get all the setting down pat. Will see how the touch pad holds up after daily use for six months or more.

I've had this range about a month. I am a certified kitchen designer trying to bring my own 1980's kitchen up to date while also keeping to a budget in my "downsized" home. I like the sleek design of this range, altho the shiney black glass needs constant cleaning. That said, I love the cleanability of the smooth glass. So much easier than the gas range I had. and We have a piece of stainless steel on the wall behind it about 10" high to a passthru, which looks great with the slidein look. The Ultra burner is super fast - and faster than my old gas range, which was a high powered 6 burner. Time will tell, but this range was a great value for the money and so far we love it!

I had my kitchen remodeled and fell in love with the slide in stove! However once it was in it has been a nightmare to keep clean on the range and the cleaning of the interior stove is a joke in 2017!!! I had to purchase a special cleanser which was the only thing I could use. . . don't bother looking in any store for this item. . . it can Only be purchased online. Affresh. It sucks. There always seems to be spots and places that it does not clean!! Why would KitchenAid not include a sample of Affresh when this stove is purchased is beyond my understanding! The cleaning of the intereior is very difficult and I am wondering how this stove ever got on the market!!!!!! BEWARE.

Minor flaws

I am a fanatic for things being straight and level. We noticed that when the stove was being installed, the bottom storage drawer was slightly crooked. We pointed it out to the installer and he said there was nothing that could be done. It is a minor flaw but not a deal breaker. However, it does pull my eye to it every time I come into the kitchen. Otherwise, it looks great and is very functional

The stove top heats up quickly, and it cooks the food faster than my old electric range. I love the oven, it distributes the heat evenly, which is great for cooking pizzas or baking cookies. Love the look of the stove. The only issue, is I wish I had selected a model that had the controls at the back of the stove.

At Queen Appliance we only offer 'white-glove' delivery services, so you never have to worry about additional charges to put a product in place, carry up stairs, or hook up hoses, water lines, and power chords. Installation charges do apply for built-in or gas appliances, but we will always be drastically less expensive than hiring an electrician or plumber! Call a Sales Associate to verify delivery and installation charges.

In addition, many of our appliances include rebates to cover the cost of delivery and even installation! Speak to a sales associate for more information on specific delivery and installation charges.

While most of our competitors sub-contract their delivery services, we take pride in quality control and protection of your appliances and property. Not only can we better accommodate specific customer needs, but we guarantee professionalism throughout each of our deliveries and patience with all of our customers.

We may sell a lot of scratched & dented appliances, but we take great pride in the fact that we do not CREATE our own Scratch & Dent merchandise.

Measure Dimensions

Queen will always take responsibility for mistakes that we make; however taking proper measurements at home is the responsibility of the customer. Do not forget to measure doorways, any space that the appliance must travel through to get to its destination, as well as the final installation place. We can provide cut sheets and detailed specs for all of our appliances, so check with your sales- person. Unfortunately, if returns happen due to a customer's negligence to measure properly, we must charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs and re-sell an unboxed piece. If desired, our drivers can come out to measure ahead of time for a small fee. Please note: We do not remove door molding or cut any cabinetry.

Delivery Time Windows

We understand that all customers have jobs and personal obligations, which is why we are committed to giving you a 2-3 hour time window for your delivery. Never should you have to wait around all day for a delivery, as with much of our competition. Please understand that we must route the truck geographically, so any special delivery time requests will be taken very seriously but can never be guaranteed. Your time window will be set the evening before and you will receive it through a phone call from our Phoenixville branch. If you have not received your time window by 7:30 pm, please call 610-933-2900 (Option 2 for Retail Sales) and check with a Sales Associate.

Directions and Cross Streets

Your salesperson is responsible for asking all the necessary details to get your new appliances to your home, however if they forget to ask for the nearest cross street please call and let them know. GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so the nearest cross street and any directions or details that you feel will help them are greatly appreciated and necessary for our drivers (i.e. low bridges, unmarked roads, landmarks, etc.).

Standard Installations

If our delivery team deems any installation as 'non-standard' they will require your approval and signature before proceeding. In addition, an additional fee may be charged depending on the nature of the situation to compensate for additional time spent and materials used, similar to working with any other contractor. 'Non-standard' installations include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:


Flooring that is raised or built on top of a pre-existing floor makes dishwasher installations very difficult. Cutting off legs of the old dishwasher may be required for removal, but will only be performed with your authorization and signature. There is no guarantee that your dishwasher can be installed if your floor is raised too high, so please discuss this possibility with your salesperson so you can purchase a dishwasher that has more flexibility for your particular installation needs. If a dishwasher installation is beyond the scope of our trained professionals, we might insist on refunding your delivery fee and leaving the project for your own contractor. As a conscientious delivery crew, we always choose to error on the side of protecting your property and avoiding a sloppy installation.

Gas Ranges and Dryers

Gas valves must be located in the appropriate position behind the appliance, as we cannot reposition or manipulate any gas line. We will not touch gas valves on the outside of the house and be responsible for restarting your pilot lights.

Electric Ranges and Dryers

Hardwiring ranges and dryers does not meet the required regulations. We come prepared with 3 prong ($19.95) and 4 prong receptacles ($29.95) which must be installed and will hang loose, but safely, behind the unit. This nominal fee is significantly less than hiring an electrician, so please cooperate with our installers who insist on following local code. Look behind your appliance...If there is a 220v outlet, there will be no additional charges. New cords must always be purchased (3 Prong - $12.95, 4 Prong - $16.95), even with a receptacle installation, as we never take the risk of using an old and possibly frayed cord.

Washing Machines

Old fill hoses can leak or burst. Queen insists on protecting your property by using only new hoses for every one of our washer installations. Some machines come with new rubber hoses, while many do not, so be prepared to purchase new rubber or stainless steel ones for a small fee. If you insist on using your old hoses, that is not a problem, however we will only put the unit in place and you must sign and indicate that you will be hooking up the hoses yourself. 5 foot fill hoses are always used, which is longer than the standard 4 foot; however some tight spaces require longer fill hoses and drain hose extensions for a small fee (i.e. laundry centers).


Refrigerator water lines can only be connected to copper tubing (no charge for install) or via poly line to a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator (small fee for materials). The installers can run a new water line with copper tubing for $79.95.

Inclement Weather

Please understand that our hard-working delivery crew cannot control inclement weather and traffic conditions. If emergencies arise you will be notified and rescheduling arrangements will be made to the best of our abilities. Completing all of our deliveries is a commitment we always keep, and we never intend to inconvenience any of our customers.

Scratch & Dent Appliances

Since Scratch & Dent appliances have pre-existing damage, please make sure to fill out a damage detail form with your salesperson. Our drivers take great pride in protecting your purchases, one of the main reasons we do not sub-contract our delivery team.


Removals of old appliances are $5 for each piece ($15 for Refrigerators) or can be taken outside for your bulk trash pickup at no charge.

  • All merchandise must be inspected and tested at the time of delivery.
  • Queen Appliance is not responsible for customer installation errors.
  • All dimensions must be approved for all major appliances. All no-fit and good stock returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus a re-delivery charge, if applicable. Merchandise must be in its original condition and include all original packing materials, accessories, product manuals and warranty cards. There will be no refund for labor, delivery and/or installation services for good stock returns.
  • If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon delivery you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange*. After this period, the manufacturer requires in-home service. If the appliance is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer it will be replaced in accordance with their individual service/return policies.
  • If you receive a cartoned product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is not replaceable** you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange***. After this period, the manufacturer does not authorize damage returns. If you receive a product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is replaceable**, you have 14 days from the time of delivery to request a replacement part at no charge.
  • Queen Appliance reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason. In rare cases, some appliances are non-returnable.
  • * Scratch & Dent appliances and Special Buy items are often one of a kind and sold at significant discounts, therefore if no exact replacement model is available you may apply the credit for that appliance toward a different model. Queen Appliance will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer.
  • ** Examples of replaceable cosmetic parts include, but are not limited to:
    • Handles
    • Knobs
    • Panels
    • Feet/Leveling Legs
    • Escutcheon Plate/Panel
    • Toe Kick/Kick Plate
    • etc
  • *** Scratch & Dent and other unboxed items are subject to the agreement at the time of sale. Customer must sign that the appliance arrived in the same condition that it was purchased. If any additional damage is noticed, please contact your sales associate immediately at the time of delivery. Returns after the time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. Damage returns will not be authorized after 72 hours, although replacement parts can be ordered up to 14 days from the time of delivery. Queen Appliance reserves the right to determine if a cosmetic part is to be replaced or if the product should be returned instead.

  • Payments are to be made to Queen Appliance without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement.
  • Online Orders: The balance of the invoice must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Factory-Direct / New In Box Orders): A deposit of 50% of the invoice price must be paid when placing an order, in order for us to place the order with the vendor. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid within 15 days or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Open Box / One-Of-A-Kind): A deposit of 5% of the item price must be paid when placing an order, in order to temporarily hold the product for 15 days maximum. An additional 45% deposit must be made within the first 15 day period (bringing the deposit total to 50%), in order to continue to hold the product. The product must be paid in full within 30 days from placing the order or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • Should these terms not be met, we reserve the right to cancel your order and release any product holds at our discretion. A full refund for all deposits made will be provided back to you via the original payment method used.
  • There are no storage charges for items held in our warehouse as long as the item is paid in accordance with the Billing Terms and Conditions listed above.
  • We accept the following credit card payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
