I've had my new refrigerator for 6 months now. It is awesome! Spacious and sleek! Absolutely a beautiful feature in my kitchen. The only negative is that it has a high pitched hum that is a bit annoying. Nothing we can do about it though.

TOTAL waste of money

LOOKS great but has SO many problems. I spent the extra money on this expensive refrigerator thinking it's a Kitchenaid it must be excellent quality. Boy was I wrong! Bought this at end of March. Thought it was perfect. But then I started to use my new expensive fridge and discovered ... the ice machine takes forever to make the tiniest of cubes that melt so quick they are useless. Don't try to get more because it's EMPTY. The self closing freezer drawer does not work from day one. The filter needed to be replaced after approx 4 months. The cost is $50.00 AND GUESS WHAT? It will STOP making ice completely until you replace it. You have to open both doors to pull out any of the drawers. So much for trying to be energy efficient & open only one door to get something besides inconvenient. There is no room for tall items unless you push back the slide-away shelf which reduces your shelf space drastically. If you have slide-away shelf extended it's not a completely flat surface so items will tip. This is my CURRENT situation. Beginning of September the Fridge started making noise from back panel, everything seemed warm & food started to spoil. Put in a thermometer & see it's reading 58 degrees. So now throw everything away in the fridge & call for service. Takes 1 week to get certified repair person to come look at it & sees solid ice frozen up in back. Apparently fan on compressor stopped working. He states he plans to use a turkey baster with warm water to defrost ice chunk it the back of fridge. He orders parts & leaves. The parts came yesterday. With no call from Kitchenaid or repair company to reschedule, I go to website schedule appt for them to come back & fix - it's ANOTHER WEEK. Can't wait to see what happens next. Reading other reviews & seeing the same problem I can't help to think this isn't over & I've made a terrible mistake buying this refrigerator. Will never suggest this fridge. Should have bought the samsung.

We bought this refrigerator in February and not six month later the ice maker needed to be replaced. NOW the refrigerator isn't getting cold enough to make ice. Our food is chilled but not cold. This is the second time I have called to get this EXPENSIVE refrigerator repaired. We thought to treat ourselves to a nice updated appliance and it has been a horrible experience. I would not recommend spending the extra money on this model. Pretty to look at but it's just not reliable. If you are considering a Kitchen Aid product get a cheaper model and spend the extra money on a extended warranty (you'll need it). My old refrigerator was with a competitors brand and we are considering selling this one and cutting our loss.

I bought this refrigerator in May and only four months later ran into the same compressor issue others have hit. I only wish I knew about it before we made the purchase. The service department we used has been great, but the part is on back-order from kitchenaid. I called customer support directly and it was frankly one of the worst experiences, being passed to parts and back to customer support before getting hung up on. The only information I found was that the parts won't be available for AT LEAST ANOTHER MONTH!! Buyer beware. It's a great refrigerator....when it works. don't expect any help from kitchenaid when it breaks.

Very quiet Easy to find everything...counter depth with refrigerator on top makes it much easier to find everything. I thought we might have a problem with needing to open both doors, but it isn't an issue. Only need to open both doors to open drawers.

I bought this fridge and after 5 months it's not working. Kitchenaid will not replace it, even though parts are on back order. Many people are having same exact problem, and it keeps happening even after they replace the parts. This fridge needs to be recalled, but they keep selling it.

Bought the unit 5 months ago. Compressor failure. Two+ weeks without a properly working unit with no sense of urgency to fix by KitchenAid. Ice maker doesn't work and even when it did it produced very little ice - certainly not enough for a family of four. BUT it looks great sitting in my kitchen ; ). Thankfully we have a second fridge in the mother-in-law suite or I'd really be upset. If the unit actually worked and made an acceptable amount of ice, I'd give it 5 stars. Took a gamble with the brand and now I'm paying for it. I'm really missing my 12 year old fridge. Also, it's very buzzy although I assume that's due to the compressor issue.

This is a beautiful fridge. The exterior dispenser is well thought out in function; it looks like 1 dispenser, but is really 2 (1 for ice, 1 for water. The inside of the fridge is very well lit and laid out, making locating items a breeze. The interior finish is top notch. Freezer is a bit tough to open, but i would rather have a good seal than not. The smudge free finish is great, if you have ever had stainless appliances you know how difficult it is to keep them looking nice and smudge free. One gripe would be the small amount of ice produced, but for most it should be more than adequate; on the flip side, the water comes out ice cold, so i haven't used as much ice. Read some complaints about being noisy and not keeping temperature. Knock on wood, but i haven't experienced either of these problems yet. Overall 5 stars at this point. Beautiful, well designed addition to the kitchen.

I purchased the fridge for a new home that is not currently ready for occupancy yet, so I have not yet had the chance to use it. I had been shopping for appliances and not sure what I wanted, but the moment I saw this beauty on display in a store I knew I had to have it. It's is simply gorgeous. I love how the LED lighting accentuates the beautiful platinum interior. The woodgrain touches are simply a work of art. The soft close drawers...genius! I purchase this refrigerator and 60 day after broke down, tech shows up after 1 week opens doors and says yes same problem as the others defective model from factory, and they keep making it available knowing it will fail,2 weeks in to it and no refrigerator, if any lawyers are reading this where do I sign for a class A law suit, I counted over 300 complains about this model, just read reviews, kitchen aid claims my model it's a new model and my refrigerator it's the only one with this issue, do they know the reviews are all over,with same issue,if you read this RUN pick up Samsung or other brand and avoid headaches.

Great refrigerator but small freezer

The refrigerator portion of this model is very roomy. It maintains its cold temperature and Is set up in a way to maximize space. The trade off is the smaller freezer. Because it is a bottom freezer it is not as easy to reach things. I do not lower the review however because we knew this when we bought it. We have a separate freezer so we were looking more for the bigger refrigerator. We have the print resistant finish which works well yet also blends well with the regular stainless appliances. This refrigerator is also very quiet

I begged my husband to splurge on this rather expensive refrigerator. My justification - the higher cost of the refrigerator means we are getting a higher quality product (and our broken/nonrepairable 12 year old Kitchen Aid refrigerator was an entry level, low cost model. Less than 3 months later - the new, beautiful appliance in my kitchen has transformed to a paper weight. Welcome to round two of spoiled food in less than 6 months at the hand of KitchenAid. You have to hand it to them though, they had a technician to our house a speedy 6 days later (yep, 6 days without a refrigerator). Here is the kicker, the control board is the problem. That's right, KitchenAid's own certified technician diagnosed the problem as an HV control board problem (part no. W10887783), nearly the exact problem that we experienced with our previous KitchenAid refrigerator. The technician actually stated out load to me when making his diagnosis that this is "a known-enough issue that they [KitchenAid] have an updated part for it to solve the issue." So I purchased [correction: KitchenAid offered for sale] a refrigerator less than 3 months ago from a certified retailer of KitchenAid equipment that was known to have an issue to the extent that KitchenAid itself has developed an updated component for it, but sold me the unit without the updated component!? For those of you considering KitchenAid, the 12-month manufacturer warranty includes the following explicit statement: "KitchenAid or KitchenAid Canada will not pay for "any food loss due to product failure." I consulted the warranties and disclaimers for a number other high-end brands and discovered that several do not include a food loss disclaimer in their warranty. This will absolutely be the last KitchenAid appliance we purchase. I would not recommend buying this appliance and I would be wary to purchase other appliances given that it is unlikely that KitchenAid injects a different level of sophistication into its other products.

The freezer is not designed well. The door gets stuck and food gets stuck so that the door is difficult to open, in fact I cut my hand today trying to get a frozen waffle out. I had to use my hair dryer to defrost it before I could remove it. The refrigerator does not have easy compartments in the doors. If you put something in, it is difficult to get out.

I had never owned a counter depth refrigerator before. Being in a condo with a smallish kitchen it makes a big difference! I didn't give up as much cubic footage as I thought i would. The only downside if any, is that the ice maker will not keep up if you have guests over for more than one or two cocktails.

This is a great fridge. I had a problem where someone turned on energy saver. This turns off the mullion heater and will cause condensation in more humid climates. This was very frustrating and not explained well. I was very upset. I did manage to figure out the problem, but it is not intuitive. Once I got that squared away, we have been very happy.

Factory Defect

Purchased brand new. Within 2 months fridge stopped working. After 2 visits by factory certified tech he finally realized there was a recall, which required the entire electronic and fan assembly in back of fridge to be replaced. I was without a fridge for two weeks. Entire fridge had to be dismantled in my kitchen repaired and put back together. I feel like I bought a used fridge. Fridge is now making new noises and will have to call in another service call. For one of the more expensive products in the line, this fridge is a dudd!

For the most part we have been really happy with this fridge. It is nice to be able to see everything in the fridge. Storing taller items does get a big challenging. The only problem I have with this fridge is the lack of ice production. I knew it was going to be less than our old fridge, but he bin never seems to get full, even though I have Max Ice on. Not sure if it is our filtering system or just slow ice production. Other than that, I love the look and function of this fridge. Also you can hear the ice trays being filled, which is a little squeaky.

I bought this refrigerator 5 weeks ago, and I am very pleased. I have one concern, I must make sure the flap that closes the ice dispenser does close. Otherwise, it jams up the ice maker. Other than that, I really enjoy opening up the refrigerator, and being able to see all that I have. I am more organized, and do not have any food being pushed to the back where I cannot see it. Also, the food I purchase is staying fresher! Also, I appreciate opening it up and seeing the beautiful interior - the platinum finish, the led lights, the wood accents. I am very blessed to have such a high end appliance!

We bought this fridge about a month ago during a kitchen remodel. While we love the space and the organizational options this fridge has, it is impossible to keep clean. I don't actually think we have the PrintShield finish and if we do it doesn't work. I have wiped this fridge more in the last month than I did my other stainless fridge in a year. I have only been using water and a microfiber cloth to clean it, but am going to have to look for something that will work better. If we can find a way to keep it clean we'll have only good things to say about this fridge. The freezer also leaves something to be desired, but we kind of knew that going in. The freezer drawer is really loud as well.

The counter depth fridge fits perfectly in my kitchen and really provides a lot of space compared to many other fridges. I also love that the ice cubes are shaped differently. I was really impressed by this small detail... but it makes a difference when comparing with other fridges. The details make it a very high end appliance!

I have had my refrigerator for about a month and love everything about it! Still getting used to a bottom freezer (had a side by side) but everything fits nicely. LED lights are nice and vegetables and fruit have stayed fresh longer.

Hard to adjust to counter depth

The change from regular size to counter depth is a challenge. We were used to storing a lot in the refrigerator. Wish it had a split shelf so we could use a pitcher or store wine bottles. If we use in the slide on the middle shelf to accommodate a wine bottle, one-third of the space is lost. Glad we have a small fridge in the garage.

Great refrigerator, love the counter depth because it gives me so much more room in the kitchen. I also love all the accents and "add-on" stuff inside. This fridge gives you so many adjustments to be able to fit items from the smallest condiments to the largest 1 gallon jugs.

It's beautiful quiet cold in spacious very organized. Door compartment remove if you need them . Icemaker is the only weak point it's loud and doesn't make very much ice. Ice cubes are small and nice.

An incredible looking product, but it quit cooling and freezing after 3 months - in a low-use two-person household. When we called for warranty support, we were told that it would take two weeks for a repair technician to arrive. To recap: premium fridge, 3 months old, 2 weeks for a repair.

Customized sleek beauty

We bought this about three months ago and love the sleek design. The finish truly is smudge proof and the shelves and inside are gorgeous. It runs quietly, the ice maker makes small cubes and great crushed ice. The ice bin is easy to pull out. The deep freezer in the bottom is big enough. The only thing i would change is the level of adjustability of the frig shelves.

At Queen Appliance we only offer 'white-glove' delivery services, so you never have to worry about additional charges to put a product in place, carry up stairs, or hook up hoses, water lines, and power chords. Installation charges do apply for built-in or gas appliances, but we will always be drastically less expensive than hiring an electrician or plumber! Call a Sales Associate to verify delivery and installation charges.

In addition, many of our appliances include rebates to cover the cost of delivery and even installation! Speak to a sales associate for more information on specific delivery and installation charges.

While most of our competitors sub-contract their delivery services, we take pride in quality control and protection of your appliances and property. Not only can we better accommodate specific customer needs, but we guarantee professionalism throughout each of our deliveries and patience with all of our customers.

We may sell a lot of scratched & dented appliances, but we take great pride in the fact that we do not CREATE our own Scratch & Dent merchandise.

Measure Dimensions

Queen will always take responsibility for mistakes that we make; however taking proper measurements at home is the responsibility of the customer. Do not forget to measure doorways, any space that the appliance must travel through to get to its destination, as well as the final installation place. We can provide cut sheets and detailed specs for all of our appliances, so check with your sales- person. Unfortunately, if returns happen due to a customer's negligence to measure properly, we must charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs and re-sell an unboxed piece. If desired, our drivers can come out to measure ahead of time for a small fee. Please note: We do not remove door molding or cut any cabinetry.

Delivery Time Windows

We understand that all customers have jobs and personal obligations, which is why we are committed to giving you a 2-3 hour time window for your delivery. Never should you have to wait around all day for a delivery, as with much of our competition. Please understand that we must route the truck geographically, so any special delivery time requests will be taken very seriously but can never be guaranteed. Your time window will be set the evening before and you will receive it through a phone call from our Phoenixville branch. If you have not received your time window by 7:30 pm, please call 610-933-2900 (Option 2 for Retail Sales) and check with a Sales Associate.

Directions and Cross Streets

Your salesperson is responsible for asking all the necessary details to get your new appliances to your home, however if they forget to ask for the nearest cross street please call and let them know. GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so the nearest cross street and any directions or details that you feel will help them are greatly appreciated and necessary for our drivers (i.e. low bridges, unmarked roads, landmarks, etc.).

Standard Installations

If our delivery team deems any installation as 'non-standard' they will require your approval and signature before proceeding. In addition, an additional fee may be charged depending on the nature of the situation to compensate for additional time spent and materials used, similar to working with any other contractor. 'Non-standard' installations include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:


Flooring that is raised or built on top of a pre-existing floor makes dishwasher installations very difficult. Cutting off legs of the old dishwasher may be required for removal, but will only be performed with your authorization and signature. There is no guarantee that your dishwasher can be installed if your floor is raised too high, so please discuss this possibility with your salesperson so you can purchase a dishwasher that has more flexibility for your particular installation needs. If a dishwasher installation is beyond the scope of our trained professionals, we might insist on refunding your delivery fee and leaving the project for your own contractor. As a conscientious delivery crew, we always choose to error on the side of protecting your property and avoiding a sloppy installation.

Gas Ranges and Dryers

Gas valves must be located in the appropriate position behind the appliance, as we cannot reposition or manipulate any gas line. We will not touch gas valves on the outside of the house and be responsible for restarting your pilot lights.

Electric Ranges and Dryers

Hardwiring ranges and dryers does not meet the required regulations. We come prepared with 3 prong ($19.95) and 4 prong receptacles ($29.95) which must be installed and will hang loose, but safely, behind the unit. This nominal fee is significantly less than hiring an electrician, so please cooperate with our installers who insist on following local code. Look behind your appliance...If there is a 220v outlet, there will be no additional charges. New cords must always be purchased (3 Prong - $12.95, 4 Prong - $16.95), even with a receptacle installation, as we never take the risk of using an old and possibly frayed cord.

Washing Machines

Old fill hoses can leak or burst. Queen insists on protecting your property by using only new hoses for every one of our washer installations. Some machines come with new rubber hoses, while many do not, so be prepared to purchase new rubber or stainless steel ones for a small fee. If you insist on using your old hoses, that is not a problem, however we will only put the unit in place and you must sign and indicate that you will be hooking up the hoses yourself. 5 foot fill hoses are always used, which is longer than the standard 4 foot; however some tight spaces require longer fill hoses and drain hose extensions for a small fee (i.e. laundry centers).


Refrigerator water lines can only be connected to copper tubing (no charge for install) or via poly line to a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator (small fee for materials). The installers can run a new water line with copper tubing for $79.95.

Inclement Weather

Please understand that our hard-working delivery crew cannot control inclement weather and traffic conditions. If emergencies arise you will be notified and rescheduling arrangements will be made to the best of our abilities. Completing all of our deliveries is a commitment we always keep, and we never intend to inconvenience any of our customers.

Scratch & Dent Appliances

Since Scratch & Dent appliances have pre-existing damage, please make sure to fill out a damage detail form with your salesperson. Our drivers take great pride in protecting your purchases, one of the main reasons we do not sub-contract our delivery team.


Removals of old appliances are $5 for each piece ($15 for Refrigerators) or can be taken outside for your bulk trash pickup at no charge.

  • Queen Appliance is not responsible for customer installation errors.
  • All dimensions must be approved for all major appliances. All no-fit and good stock returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus a re-delivery charge, if applicable. Merchandise must be in its original condition and include all original packing materials, accessories, product manuals and warranty cards. There will be no refund for labor, delivery and/or installation services for good stock returns.
  • If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon delivery you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange*. After this period, the manufacturer requires in-home service. If the appliance is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer it will be replaced in accordance with their individual service/return policies.
  • If you receive a cartoned product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is not replaceable** you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange***. After this period, the manufacturer does not authorize damage returns. If you receive a product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is replaceable**, you have 14 days from the time of delivery to request a replacement part at no charge.
  • Queen Appliance reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason. In rare cases, some appliances are non-returnable.
  • * Scratch & Dent appliances and Special Buy items are often one of a kind and sold at significant discounts, therefore if no exact replacement model is available you may apply the credit for that appliance toward a different model. Queen Appliance will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer.
  • ** Examples of replaceable cosmetic parts include, but are not limited to:
    • Handles
    • Knobs
    • Panels
    • Feet/Leveling Legs
    • Escutcheon Plate/Panel
    • Toe Kick/Kick Plate
    • etc
  • *** Scratch & Dent and other unboxed items are subject to the agreement at the time of sale. Customer must sign that the appliance arrived in the same condition that it was purchased. If any additional damage is noticed, please contact your sales associate immediately at the time of delivery. Returns after the time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. Damage returns will not be authorized after 72 hours, although replacement parts can be ordered up to 14 days from the time of delivery. Queen Appliance reserves the right to determine if a cosmetic part is to be replaced or if the product should be returned instead.

  • Payments are to be made to Queen Appliance without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement.
  • Online Orders: The balance of the invoice must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Factory-Direct / New In Box Orders): A deposit of 50% of the invoice price must be paid when placing an order, in order for us to place the order with the vendor. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid within 15 days or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Open Box / One-Of-A-Kind): A deposit of 5% of the item price must be paid when placing an order, in order to temporarily hold the product for 15 days maximum. An additional 45% deposit must be made within the first 15 day period (bringing the deposit total to 50%), in order to continue to hold the product. The product must be paid in full within 30 days from placing the order or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • Should these terms not be met, we reserve the right to cancel your order and release any product holds at our discretion. A full refund for all deposits made will be provided back to you via the original payment method used.
  • There are no storage charges for items held in our warehouse as long as the item is paid in accordance with the Billing Terms and Conditions listed above.
  • We accept the following credit card payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.
