We got this with our new home. It cooks so even and fast and really is so convenient. The double ovens is a major plus especially with kids. We have 3 so cooking is so easy with this thing...meals and deserts cooked at the same time. Makes dinner together very easy. Make sure to get the matching vent hood with the food warning lamps! Makes Party cooking a breeze. Ps the temp gage for cooking meat is amazing and the oven is so quiet.

Lovely, but a little glitchy

We purchased this 48" commercial-style range for its looks and price. It looks fantastic and creates the focal point we wanted w/o being overwhelming for a residential space. The burner work surface is huge and all burners work as designed. The griddle is lovely to look at but is a little bit of a bear to clean. The surface is chrome so needs to be treated delicately. The cleaning instructions state to heat the surface to 300 degrees, pour water on the surface and use a non-scratch pad. When we tried that, the Dawn non-scratch sponge basically melted onto the surface! We ended up with a mess and had to use Goo Gone and elbow grease, which ultimately worked. Now, when I use the griddle we let it cool off completely and only use dish soap and a sponge - no heat. That seems to do the trick but so far we've only made pancakes so not sure how a bigger mess would clean up with this method. The oven latch on the left broke when the oven door fell off (!) and we've rigged it with a paper clip for now until the technician can come back with the part. We think that the hinges weren't properly locked during installation. Fingers crossed that does not happen again. Getting the door unlatched required a cocktail, a patient husband and a coat hanger. The fan to the small oven is noisy! the one on the right is not a problem. The tech said it was normal due to the design of the small oven (a narrowed air-flow channel?). I am not buying it. Next time he's here will ask him to pull the oven out from the wall and check the fan from the back side. It sounds like it it's loose. We ordered the optional stainless steel knobs (the oven comes with black metal) and while they looked glam, they were too hot to touch when the oven was on. we are returning the knobs. Lock the control panel when ovens are on and turn off the beep/sound feature. Or the oven turns off when you lean over it and panel is always beeping at you at slightest touch.

Ran a self clean cycle on both ovens at 5 years. Smaller oven won't heat at all now. Larger oven won't heat all the way to temperature. $500 to replace one control board. Didn't fix the problem. Being told we need another $700 in repairs to replace both blowers and one door latch. Tech isn't confident that will even fix the problem. We brought in a second tech who recommended different repairs but at similar costs. We decided to pull the plug and just buy a new range. Stay away.

Bad, Bad purchase

Ovens have not worked properly since day 1. Bought this "high end" range for our busy BNB and has been nothing but a headache. The burners and grill cook like a dream but the ovens, the ovens have ruined meal after meal and causes much unneeded stress and anguish by not getting to temp or keeping temp. I've got paying guests here for meals and my biscuits will "melt" in a 200 degree oven while dial reads 375. Dealt with Sears over and over and they ended up replacing original range after a 9-month headache now 2nd range is doing the exact same thing after only 7 months. I'm frustrated. Angry and disappointed. Why can't Kitchenaid make a proper oven? Never again. Don't buy this. I wish it worked because I like it and I love the griddle. But it's a piece of trash to me if the ovens won't get to temp and keep temp. Oh and the fans on the oven are SO loud. Anytime the oven is on, you have to listen to a rattling, noisy fan.

Worst oven and customer service for 2 year old range!

This is my second review for my 2 year old range. My first review was in February 2016, wherein I received an on-line response in July stating I should email Kitchenaid. I did email, but did not get a response, so I called today because my ovens do not work and Christmas is this weekend and I have a large crowd coming on Sunday. Kitchenaid came out last February for a "good-will" service call because we were passed the 1 year warranty and since it was the same problem they had tried to fix a few months earlier. The February service call seemed to fix the ovens until last week, causing the ovens to work sporadically. Now, the smaller oven does not turn on at all and the larger one worked 1 out of 5 days, taking longer than normal to heat after several attempts. I called kitchenaid customer service requesting them to switch out the range because I did not want another Christmas dinner ruined. They said it is passed warranty and I would have to pay $300 to extend the warranty or they would give me a discount on a new range! This is for the same problem we have had with the ovens since the first month we had the range! And fixing the problem only lasts for a few months! This range is defective and kitchenaid will not replace it. This is the worst experience I have ever had and would not recommend kitchenaid to anyone ever!!!

We have been enjoying the stove now for 5 months. So far we are very happy. Fairly intuitive to use. Burners work well, from the Power Burner to the simmer. Sometimes the igniter goes off automatically when you have the simmer set very low. Its is the smallest of flames, performs very well. The griddle we were concerned with from other reviews we read but it has worked great. Mainly use it to cook pancakes and grill vegetables but it cook great and cleans well after use.

Includes many handy features for timing preheating oven and timing cooking. Can't think of anything that could be added. Would recommend a rewrite of the manual that comes with the stove - current one is not detailed nor thorough enough. You have to just play with the controls to learn them - not a bad way to do it, but a comprehensive manual would be nice for reference. The griddle cover also needs a handle on it - it's awkward to remove without one.

Plenty of room on this range top to cook for a crowd. The BTUs on the burners are the hottest I have ever used, they boil an entire kettle of water in a jiffy. The 2 separate ovens are also nice. I use the smaller one for small pans and like the energy savings instead of heating up a full sized oven. The chrome griddle is a little more difficult to clean than I'd like and prohibits me using it as often as I thought I would.

Bought this for our house just outside Atlanta, Georgia. So wonderful to cook on. Love the fact some of the burners heat at a higher temperature makes heating water for boiling so much quicker and the lower heating burners are great for sauteing. I worried about the smaller oven not functioning the way I've been used to cooking with two wall ovens of the same size but I have to say it wasn't a problem at all. I use it for biscuits and casserole dishes and it doesn't miss a beat. You will not be disappointed with this appliance. We just sold our house in Georgia last week and we have already bought a house from a builder. Because we were so satisfied with it's performance, I'm already redesigning the new kitchen to buy another one of these ranges to replace the awful builder cook top and wall oven. Thank you KitchenAid for making these 48 inch commercial style ovens it really makes our kitchen look impressive and it helped sell our other house in Georgia too!.

I purchased this 48 inch range to replace a Fivestar range installed by our builder. The Fivestar cooked well but was very basic, ovens weren't self cleaning, both ovens were the same size (small) and no delayed baking feature, timer, etc. I love to cook but am by no means a chef and I didn't think it a wise investment to spend in excess of $10,000 on a range. After some checking, I bought this range and love it. It has every feature I could want, cooks like a dream (be careful if you are not used to a professional range because you will burn your food) and it looks amazing in my kitchen.

What a joy to use this appliance. The oven cooks so evenly and lots of space with the 6 burners. I'm only giving it 4 stars though as the electrical system seems a bit wonky. The panel quit working one night and kept turning the oven off. Shut the breaker and all returned to fine. Then the light in the smaller over wouldn't turn off even with manually pushing the black latch on the door. Turned the breaker off and all has been fine. And finally the larger over door doesn't recognize it's been closed unless you intentionally push it closed until the black latch registers it's closed. Several times of checking on items cooking only to realize 15 min. later that the oven has quit heating because it thinks the door is open has taught me to make sure the latch has engaged. I do also wish the pans under the burner grates came out for easier cleaning. So far little things that at some point might turn into bigger things but overall a pleasure to use.

We recently bought this wonderful range a short time ago. For so many years, we have owned only Kitchenaid appliances. They never saw an appliance man. No need. I made the mistake of "upgrading" to a supposedly high end range, et al, when I retired and moved to antoher state. It was fine for about 6 years. Then, what a disaster. After fighting with it for another 5 years, I bit the bullet and did what I should have done in the first place and bought a 48" Kitchenaid range and now I am happy!!!! Come on Thanksgiving! I am finally ready!

This has been the worst choice we ever made in a kitchen. The oven door doesn't close properly at times & the light remains ON. Service person tried to fix, but couldn't. The door has to be closed hardly with a big bang. The flame is not evenly spread out in one of the stoves. The griddle is not non-stick & is not removable. The stove plate started oozing a black stain & discolored. The location of display is inappropriate - cooking spills on the display causing the beeps & too much cleaning. The small oven is the only aspect I like about the whole stove.

The griddle is not removable and therefore clean up is difficult. The oven door does not shut tightly and so the oven light remains on and the oven will not preheat. Kitchen Aid has sent a service repair out four times to repair the oven and it is still not working.

The dual fuel convection oven is one of my favor cooking methods, The small oven come very practical and energy efficient for single simple recipes while the large capacity oven can hold enough pans to cook for a large crowd. We have had this range for almost 3 years and have had various problems with it. The griddle is very hard to clean properly and food sticks no matter what you use to keep it from sticking. It might be better if it was removable for cleaning. The burners are not good at low temperature cooking, so if you try to simmer, it ends up burning. The oven doors randomly lock while we are cooking in the ovens, then we can't get the food out. It takes a long time to get the doors open again. I thought the door locks were only supposed to engage during self cleaning, which we have never used..... The fans that kick on while the ovens are on are very loud and cause the floor to vibrate throughout the house. They also continuosly blow air out, which can be uncomfortable if you are trying to stand in front of it while cooking. The touch screen is terrible, especially if you spill something on it while cooking and it resets everything, or won't stop beeping. We have had to reset the oven a few times by flipping off the circuit breaker when the controls become unresponsive. Very inconvenient. For this kind of money, I expect a better product.

I love the look of my range and it and the griddle work great. I had to have my first one replaced since the larger oven wasn't heating properly and the light kept going and staying on on its own. New one is heating but the vibration of the fan is making the light go on also. I have to keep pushing on the door to turn it off. I haven't used the convection cycle on either ovens yet but on bake cycle meats and even garlic bread aren't' browning like my old ovens did. I suppose it is the fans that are always on. A cake baked well though. So after just 2 months the jury is still out

Great looking oven and good price

This is our first gas oven in almost 30 years. We always wanted this type and were willing to pay the builders premium to have it. So far it has cooked everything to our satisfaction. The only complaints we have are the stainless steel scratches very easily and the control panel is a nightmare. It's very hard to keep clean and heaven help you if you touch it in error. We still would recommend this oven over others. We also wish that we had more choices than black for the knob controls. Kitchenaid can you help on this request.

For the most part a good appliance

We purchased our Kitchenaid Stove for our new home. For the most part I love our choice. However there is one big set back for me, because we got a convection oven with a side convection oven not all my baking sheets fit. I can no longer make a round pizza because standard round pizza pan do not fit. The convection fan sticks out to far into the oven. The small oven does not accommodate standard size cookie sheet because the convection fan sticks out to far in the oven. This was a big disappointment to me. I thought with two ovens I would be able to do more holiday baking in a shorter period of time. I would absolutely buy this stove again but without convection ovens.

Installation charges do apply for built-in or gas appliances, but we will always be drastically less expensive than hiring an electrician or plumber! We may sell a lot of scratched & dented appliances, but we take great pride in the fact that we do not CREATE our own Scratch & Dent merchandise.

Measure Dimensions

Queen will always take responsibility for mistakes that we make; however taking proper measurements at home is the responsibility of the customer. Do not forget to measure doorways, any space that the appliance must travel through to get to its destination, as well as the final installation place. We can provide cut sheets and detailed specs for all of our appliances, so check with your sales- person. Unfortunately, if returns happen due to a customer's negligence to measure properly, we must charge a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs and re-sell an unboxed piece. If desired, our drivers can come out to measure ahead of time for a small fee. Please note: We do not remove door molding or cut any cabinetry.

Delivery Time Windows

We understand that all customers have jobs and personal obligations, which is why we are committed to giving you a 2-3 hour time window for your delivery. Never should you have to wait around all day for a delivery, as with much of our competition. Please understand that we must route the truck geographically, so any special delivery time requests will be taken very seriously but can never be guaranteed. Your time window will be set the evening before and you will receive it through a phone call from our Phoenixville branch. If you have not received your time window by 7:30 pm, please call 610-933-2900 (Option 2 for Retail Sales) and check with a Sales Associate.

Directions and Cross Streets

Your salesperson is responsible for asking all the necessary details to get your new appliances to your home, however if they forget to ask for the nearest cross street please call and let them know. GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so the nearest cross street and any directions or details that you feel will help them are greatly appreciated and necessary for our drivers (i.e. low bridges, unmarked roads, landmarks, etc.).

Standard Installations

If our delivery team deems any installation as 'non-standard' they will require your approval and signature before proceeding. In addition, an additional fee may be charged depending on the nature of the situation to compensate for additional time spent and materials used, similar to working with any other contractor. 'Non-standard' installations include, but are not limited to, the following scenarios:


Flooring that is raised or built on top of a pre-existing floor makes dishwasher installations very difficult. Cutting off legs of the old dishwasher may be required for removal, but will only be performed with your authorization and signature. There is no guarantee that your dishwasher can be installed if your floor is raised too high, so please discuss this possibility with your salesperson so you can purchase a dishwasher that has more flexibility for your particular installation needs. If a dishwasher installation is beyond the scope of our trained professionals, we might insist on refunding your delivery fee and leaving the project for your own contractor. As a conscientious delivery crew, we always choose to error on the side of protecting your property and avoiding a sloppy installation.

Gas Ranges and Dryers

Gas valves must be located in the appropriate position behind the appliance, as we cannot reposition or manipulate any gas line. We will not touch gas valves on the outside of the house and be responsible for restarting your pilot lights.

Electric Ranges and Dryers

Hardwiring ranges and dryers does not meet the required regulations. We come prepared with 3 prong ($19.95) and 4 prong receptacles ($29.95) which must be installed and will hang loose, but safely, behind the unit. This nominal fee is significantly less than hiring an electrician, so please cooperate with our installers who insist on following local code. Look behind your appliance...If there is a 220v outlet, there will be no additional charges. New cords must always be purchased (3 Prong - $12.95, 4 Prong - $16.95), even with a receptacle installation, as we never take the risk of using an old and possibly frayed cord.

Washing Machines

Old fill hoses can leak or burst. Queen insists on protecting your property by using only new hoses for every one of our washer installations. Some machines come with new rubber hoses, while many do not, so be prepared to purchase new rubber or stainless steel ones for a small fee. If you insist on using your old hoses, that is not a problem, however we will only put the unit in place and you must sign and indicate that you will be hooking up the hoses yourself. 5 foot fill hoses are always used, which is longer than the standard 4 foot; however some tight spaces require longer fill hoses and drain hose extensions for a small fee (i.e. laundry centers).


Refrigerator water lines can only be connected to copper tubing (no charge for install) or via poly line to a shut-off valve behind the refrigerator (small fee for materials). The installers can run a new water line with copper tubing for $79.95.

Inclement Weather

Please understand that our hard-working delivery crew cannot control inclement weather and traffic conditions. If emergencies arise you will be notified and rescheduling arrangements will be made to the best of our abilities. Completing all of our deliveries is a commitment we always keep, and we never intend to inconvenience any of our customers.

Scratch & Dent Appliances

Since Scratch & Dent appliances have pre-existing damage, please make sure to fill out a damage detail form with your salesperson. Our drivers take great pride in protecting your purchases, one of the main reasons we do not sub-contract our delivery team.


Removals of old appliances are $5 for each piece ($15 for Refrigerators) or can be taken outside for your bulk trash pickup at no charge.

  • All merchandise must be inspected and tested at the time of delivery.
  • Queen Appliance is not responsible for customer installation errors.
  • All dimensions must be approved for all major appliances. All no-fit and good stock returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus a re-delivery charge, if applicable. Merchandise must be in its original condition and include all original packing materials, accessories, product manuals and warranty cards. There will be no refund for labor, delivery and/or installation services for good stock returns.
  • If you receive a product that is functionally defective upon delivery you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange*. After this period, the manufacturer requires in-home service. If the appliance is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer it will be replaced in accordance with their individual service/return policies.
  • If you receive a cartoned product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is not replaceable** you must contact your sales associate within 72 hours for an exchange***. After this period, the manufacturer does not authorize damage returns. If you receive a product that is cosmetically damaged and the part is replaceable**, you have 14 days from the time of delivery to request a replacement part at no charge.
  • Queen Appliance reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise at any time and for any reason. In rare cases, some appliances are non-returnable.
  • * Scratch & Dent appliances and Special Buy items are often one of a kind and sold at significant discounts, therefore if no exact replacement model is available you may apply the credit for that appliance toward a different model. Queen Appliance will always work to provide the best value possible, however any difference in product price is the responsibility of the customer.
  • ** Examples of replaceable cosmetic parts include, but are not limited to:
    • Handles
    • Knobs
    • Panels
    • Feet/Leveling Legs
    • Escutcheon Plate/Panel
    • Toe Kick/Kick Plate
    • etc
  • *** Scratch & Dent and other unboxed items are subject to the agreement at the time of sale. Customer must sign that the appliance arrived in the same condition that it was purchased. If any additional damage is noticed, please contact your sales associate immediately at the time of delivery. Returns after the time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. Damage returns will not be authorized after 72 hours, although replacement parts can be ordered up to 14 days from the time of delivery. Queen Appliance reserves the right to determine if a cosmetic part is to be replaced or if the product should be returned instead.

  • Payments are to be made to Queen Appliance without any deduction or discount other than as stated in these Terms or in the relevant invoice or statement.
  • Online Orders: The balance of the invoice must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Factory-Direct / New In Box Orders): A deposit of 50% of the invoice price must be paid when placing an order, in order for us to place the order with the vendor. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid within 15 days or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • In-Store / Phone Orders (Open Box / One-Of-A-Kind): A deposit of 5% of the item price must be paid when placing an order, in order to temporarily hold the product for 15 days maximum. An additional 45% deposit must be made within the first 15 day period (bringing the deposit total to 50%), in order to continue to hold the product. The product must be paid in full within 30 days from placing the order or at the time of delivery (whichever comes sooner).
  • Should these terms not be met, we reserve the right to cancel your order and release any product holds at our discretion. A full refund for all deposits made will be provided back to you via the original payment method used.
  • There are no storage charges for items held in our warehouse as long as the item is paid in accordance with the Billing Terms and Conditions listed above.
